The record

Purpose: 3790's Fashion is a Minecraft Java Edition mod that adds server-local capes, Outfit outerwear, and a Creative Inventory style wardrobe.
Preview and selection: Players can preview and choose capes and outfits in the in-game wardrobe while keeping the original base skin, model, and animations.
Outfit parts: Outfits can replace six outer skin parts: head, body, both arms, and both legs; players can choose a full outfit, groups, or individual parts.
Asset formats: Capes use 64×32 PNG files and outfits use 64×64 PNG files, with each image limited to 65536 bytes.
Server setup: The mod requires Minecraft Java Edition 26.2, Fabric Loader 0.19.3 or compatible later version, Fabric API 0.158.0+26.2 or compatible later version, and Java 25.
Client and server: The mod must be installed on both the client and server for full features, while single-player requires only the client installation.
Reloading outfits: Administrators can run `/fashion3790 reload` to reload outfits without reconnecting clients or reapplying selections; cape changes require a server restart.
Application and sync: Cape and outfit selections share one draft and are applied together, then confirmed, saved, and synchronized by the server to other online players.
Optional integration: The mod optionally supports 3790's Elytra Slot 0.1.0 Visual Contract v1, which must be installed separately and is not required by the main mod.
Limits: The wardrobe does not provide resource upload or editing, entitlement management, a reload GUI, or live file watching.
Compatibility: Unmodded clients can join a modded server but cannot use the wardrobe or display custom capes and outfits; the modded client can join an unmodded server without wardrobe or server fashion features.
License: The project code is distributed under the MIT License.
Support: The project identifies GitHub Issues as the canonical place for issue feedback.
Wardrobe: Players use an in-game wardrobe with Cape and Outfit tabs to preview and choose appearances.
