The record

Product: Arctic Stock is a community-generated hub for photography and video footage from Arctic regions.
Catalog themes: The site organizes imagery into communities, culture, industry, landscapes, people, and plants and animals.
Contributor community: Contributors range from amateurs to seasoned professionals, and Arctic Stock vets submissions for image quality, lighting, composition, and subject matter.
Coverage: Arctic Stock invites submissions from Arctic regions including Nunavut, Russia, Greenland, Finland, and Alaska, and says it does not feature Antarctica.
Licensing: Contributors designate media as royalty free or rights managed; rights managed licenses limit use to the project purpose specified at purchase.
Royalty free limits: The site says royalty free licenses have no time or project-count limit, but its standard and premium fees cover one user and print runs up to 100K, with add-ons available for expanded use.
Available formats: Photography is offered as JPEG/JPG and footage is offered as MOV and MP4 files.
Purchasing use cases: The pricing page lists editorial, corporate, web, advertising, print, film, TV, retail product, packaging, app, and software usage categories.
Contributor submissions: Photo submissions must be JPG/JPEG, at least 1250 pixels on the longest side, and no larger than 10 MB; footage must be MOV/MP4 and no larger than 1 GB.
Contributor eligibility: The company encourages photographers of all levels to submit work and suggests uploading a 5 to 10 image sample if unsure whether it will be accepted.
Support: Arctic Stock directs account setup questions to its contributor guide or [email protected] and offers personalized licensing help by contact.
Refunds: The FAQ says refunds generally are not offered because customers can preview media before purchase, but technical file problems may be resolved with a replacement or full or partial refund.
Complimentary media: The customer license defines complimentary stock media as low resolution and watermarked, available without a fee for test or placeholder purposes for up to one month.
Operator and location: The customer license identifies Atiigo Media Inc. as the company doing business as Arctic Stock, and the site lists an Iqaluit, Nunavut address.
