The record

Purpose: Argus is salon-management software for pet grooming businesses, combining online booking, scheduling, customer and pet records, staff management, checkout, and reporting.
Scheduling: The calendar provides a day view per groomer, drag-to-reschedule, staff shifts, and repeating rotas.
Customer and pet records: Records can include a pet’s breed, size, birthday, microchip number, photo, notes, and grooming history.
Checkout and commissions: Argus supports in-salon checkout for services and consumables, with discounts, tips, tax, and automatically calculated staff commissions.
Reminders: Optional texts include grooming-due reminders, appointment confirmations and changes, day-before reminders, and review requests.
SMS setup: Messages are opt-in and sent through the salon’s own SMS account; Argus logs message recipients, delivery status, and message body.
Multi-location: One account can cover multiple branches, each with its own calendar, staff, services, hours, and booking page, with reporting across locations.
Languages: The homepage says the staff dashboard and customer booking portal support nine languages: English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Norwegian Bokmål, Ukrainian, and Georgian.
Platform access: The service runs in a browser and the homepage says there is nothing to download to use it.
Account security: The terms say accounts authenticate using a one-time code sent to email or phone, described as passwordless login.
Data separation: The terms describe Argus as a multi-tenant service that keeps each organization’s data separate from other organizations’ data.
Support and development: Argus says it ships improvements on most working days and invites salons to request features, with an answer about whether and when they can be added.
