Ezgif is a web-based collection of tools for creating and editing animated images and video. Its free GIF maker turns images or video into GIFs without watermarks, signup, or conversion limits, and supports GIFs up to 60 seconds long. It also works with animated APNG, WebP, MNG, JXL, and AVIF files. Uploads can include up to 2,000 files with a combined size of 200MB; each frame file can be up to 50MB, and GIF maker resolution tops out at 1920×1920 pixels. Uploaded files are deleted automatically after one hour. Other tools include video conversion, a screen recorder for capturing a screen, window, or browser tab at up to 4K/30fps, and bulk GIF optimization that runs in the browser without uploads. A metadata tool removes GPS, camera, timestamp, author, and thumbnail data. Ezgif also accepts ZIP, 7z, TAR, and RAR archives containing images. It runs on the web and is free.
