GearUP Booster is a gaming connection service intended to reduce latency and packet loss, especially when connecting to foreign game servers. Its Windows product uses smart routing to find a faster path and lists support for more than 3,000 games. The mobile app offers one-button connection boosting and says it does not use additional data or battery. GearUP focuses on game traffic and says it does not alter in-game performance or data; it is not intended for social media or unrelated software. A ping test can show a player's ping and an estimate of how much the service may reduce it before download. GearUP LAN Play is advertised as a free way to create a private network for supported LAN games, but each player needs GearUP and must join the same network. Apps are listed for Windows, iOS, and Android, while supported platforms also include PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, Steam Deck, PICO, and Oculus Quest. The listed mobile membership is 6.99 USD per month, but is marked sold out. Team plans are offered for two or five people.
