The record

Product: Hikyaku is an open source logistics operating system for transport teams, combining package tracking, fleet coordination, warehouse operations, and route optimization.
Dispatch: Dispatchers can arrange parcels manually or optimize routes around delivery windows, then send the run to the driver app.
Live tracking: The dispatch view shows live driver locations and delivery statuses, and recipients can follow a parcel on a public tracking page without an account.
Proof of delivery: Drivers can record delivery photos, and the photos appear on the recipient tracking page and in the dashboard.
Fleet and safety: The docs describe vehicle capacity and skills, maintenance records, and shift limits for working time, driving time, distance, and stops.
Access controls: The docs state that Hikyaku supports permission-aware access and two-factor authentication.
Hosting: Hikyaku is open source and can be deployed in the cloud or on-premise, including self-hosting on an operator’s own infrastructure.
Integration: Hikyaku connects n8n workflows through OAuth, and its n8n plugin can move orders, status changes, and proof-of-delivery events between systems.
Driver platform: The driver app supports scanning packages, navigating routes, and recording photos and signatures; the docs say Android phones can also be used to add packages, vehicles, and warehouses.
Fuel cards: Hikyaku offers virtual fuel-only cards with per-transaction or time-based spend limits, and cards can be frozen or cancelled.
Intended users: The product is presented for delivery and courier teams, with workflows for clients, dispatchers, drivers, and recipients.
