The record

Product: Icon Training is an AI personal trainer marketplace where people choose an athlete, coach, or fitness creator for personalized training and guidance.
Personalized plans: Plans are shaped around a user's goals, experience, schedule, available equipment, and the chosen Icon's methods.
Coaching: The app offers on-demand guidance informed by an Icon's coaching approach, described as available 24/7.
Progress tracking: Users can log workouts, follow a programme, and track progress.
Adaptive training: The maker says training can evolve based on performance, recovery, and consistency, and adjust when plans change.
Nutrition: The Help Center says the app includes nutrition tracking and personalized meal recommendations aligned with fitness goals.
Wearable integrations: The privacy policy says optional, read-only Apple Health/HealthKit and Google Health Connect access can provide steps, heart rate, exercise sessions, and sleep data.
AI provider: Chat messages and relevant fitness context are sent to Google Gemini through Google AI Studio and Vertex AI; the policy says Google does not use this data to train its foundation models.
Security: The privacy policy describes TLS 1.2+ encryption in transit, encrypted credential storage using iOS Keychain or Android Keystore, backend access controls, and routine security reviews.
Data sharing: When a user subscribes to an Icon, their profile, fitness, and health data is shared with that Icon's Partner Trainer for coaching, and the trainer's access ends when they unsubscribe.
Support: The Help Center lists email and a contact form for support, and says in-app live chat is coming soon.
Audience: The Help Center says the app is designed for all fitness levels, from complete beginners to advanced athletes.
Notable limits: The privacy policy says Icon Training is not intended for users under 16.
