KISS Launcher is an Android launcher for finding apps and contacts by typing in a search box. Its adaptive search learns from use to make items faster to find. The maker describes it as under 500 KB and requiring nearly no memory, and says it is optimized for battery life. KISS is free and published under the GPL, which lets users change, package, and distribute it subject to sharing changes back. Documentation covers search providers, gestures, themes, tags, favorites, history modes, and widgets. The privacy policy says the app has no internet access and does not collect, store, or transmit personal data. Preferences and history stay on the device and can be cleared by removing app data or uninstalling. Contacts are read on-device for search; calling requires an explicit request, while call history is optional and off by default. KISS says it uses no third-party services, analytics, advertising SDKs, or tracking tools. Downloads are linked through Google Play and F-Droid.
