Manuscripts.ai is a web-based AI writing platform for authors and content creators working on novels, short stories, academic papers, or nonfiction. Its AI Book Writer creates structured material chapter by chapter, with controls for genre, tone, and style. For planning, the Story Generator develops a synopsis with story arc options, while the Braindump Tool organizes ideas into an outline or story plan. A Lore Book keeps character, location, timeline, and world-building details available to the AI across chapters. Editing tools cover structural, developmental, copy, and line editing, as well as paraphrasing and grammar, style, readability, and sentiment analysis. AI Chat has Research and Brainstorm modes, and the AI Agent can make multi-step edits, including global find and replace, voice changes, and translation. Academic features include four citation styles, a research source database, and a chart generator. The Free plan includes one active project and 50,000 tokens; Professional is 29.00 USD per month or 300.00 USD per year.
