Purpose: MVSPSP is an emulator for the Neo-Geo MVS and AES systems.
License: The repository is public and displays a GPL-3.0 license.

PSP memory: The upstream readme says MVSPSP can use the expanded memory of PSP-2000 when compiled with the PSP_SLIM flag, while still requiring a cache.
ROM compatibility: The upstream readme says version 2.2.0 added ROM sets supported through MAME 0.119 and bootleg sets supported by MAME Plus!.

Multiplayer constraint: The AdHoc option can be compiled only when KERNEL_MODE is enabled.

Build environment: The upstream readme lists Cygwin and PSPSDK revision 2318 as the build environment.
Support: The upstream readme asks users to report license problems, but the opened project pages do not state a support channel.
PSP compatibility: The repository describes modified builds that are compatible with HBL.
Base versions: The maker says the modified versions are based on emulator versions 2.2.1 and 2.3.1.
