The record

Purpose: My Family Album organizes a child's photos and videos into private stories and timelines.
Story timeline: The app creates a chronological, story-based timeline of a child's life from photos and videos.
On-device story detection: On-device AI detects events such as birthdays, holidays, and trips and suggests stories.
Video creation: Stories can be turned into presentation videos using templates.
Child profiles: Users can create separate timelines for multiple children.
Sharing: Stories and media are shared privately with family members the user invites, rather than posted publicly.
Encryption: Photos and videos are encrypted on the device with AES-256-GCM before upload, and per-user access uses RSA-OAEP key wrapping.
AI privacy: Photo analysis runs on the device, and photos and videos are not sent to the maker or third parties for AI processing.
Integrations and providers: The policy names Firebase Authentication, Google Cloud hosting and storage, and Apple App Store payments as service providers.
Deletion: Users can delete their account and associated media in the app or by request; the policy says requests are processed within 30 days.
Intended users: The service is intended for adults, parents, and legal guardians, and children may not create accounts independently.
Ownership and key-loss limit: Users retain ownership of uploaded content and are responsible for their encryption keys; lost keys may make encrypted content unrecoverable.
Support: The privacy policy lists [email protected] for privacy questions.
Developer: The app is developed by Kidslox.
