PR-Agent

Deployment: self hosted
Integrations: GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, Azure DevOps, CodeCommit, Gitea, OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, DeepSeek, Mistral, LiteLLM-compatible providers
Purpose: PR-Agent is an open-source AI agent that describes, reviews and improves pull requests.
Review: The review tool generates feedback on possible issues, security concerns, tests and review effort.
Code suggestions: The improve tool generates actionable code suggestions for improving a pull request.
PR questions: The ask tool answers questions about pull requests based on their code changes, and it can answer questions about selected code lines.
Git platforms: The supported-platforms page lists GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, Azure DevOps and Gitea, with Gerrit and CodeCommit also supported for some tools and usage modes.
Ways to run: PR-Agent can run locally from the CLI, through PR comments, or automatically when a pull request opens.
Installation: The local installation guide documents Docker, pip and running from source.
Ticket integrations: Ticket context integrations include GitHub and GitLab issues, Jira and Asana; Jira Server and Data Center are not supported yet.
Output integrations: The optional push_outputs feature can send results to stdout, a JSONL file, a generic HTTPS webhook or a Slack Incoming Webhook.
Privacy: For self-hosted PR-Agent using an API key for an LLM provider, data handling is between the user and that provider.
GitHub security: The GitHub integration guide warns that pull_request_target workflows can access repository secrets and advises against executing pull-request code in the same job with secrets or elevated token permissions.
Usage limit: The help_docs command is temporarily disabled since v0.36.1 pending a fix for a credential-exposure issue.
