The record

Purpose: Preserve Forever provides a shared family photo archive organized by moment, with photos searchable by date, person, or moment.
Memories: The service surfaces anniversary reminders and photos from the same date in previous years.
Photographer transfers: Photographers can share full resolution originals with clients and transfer ownership of the photos to a client's archive.
Secure sharing: Share links can use email OTP, magic links, or passwords, and can have expiry, view limits, watermarks, and download controls.
Privacy: The company says it does not use photos for advertising, profiling, AI training, or data brokers, and runs an automated CSAM scan at upload.
Encryption: The privacy policy says photos use TLS/HTTPS in transit and infrastructure encryption on hot storage, with AES-256-GCM application-layer encryption in cold storage and per-user keys.
Integrations and providers: The privacy policy lists Backblaze B2, AWS S3 Glacier Deep Archive, AWS Rekognition and KMS, StopNCII, NCMEC CyberTipline, Supabase, Stripe, and Resend/SMTP as third-party services.
Export and deletion: Users can export their data, and the policy says account photos are permanently deleted within 30 days, with cold-storage photos potentially taking up to 90 days to be purged from backups.
Compliance: The privacy policy describes user rights under GDPR and UK GDPR and says qualifying personal data breach notices go to the ICO within 72 hours.
Support: The site lists privacy and security contact addresses as [email protected] and [email protected].
Audience: The product is presented for families sharing photo libraries across devices and for photographers transferring client galleries.
