Recovery Toolbox for Outlook is a recovery tool for mailbox data in damaged PST and OST files. It can restore email, contacts, calendars, attachments, and other mailbox items. Supported PST files range from ANSI formats used by Outlook 97 through XP to Unicode files from Outlook 2007 onward, including Outlook 2016, 2019, 2021, 2024, and Microsoft 365. Converter mode exports OST data to PST or extracts it into MSG, EML, VCF, or TXT files. The software can read password-protected or encrypted files, including files with both encrypted and unencrypted content. Recovered mailboxes can be split into user-defined PST files to address the legacy 2 GB ANSI limit. The demo previews recovered content and saves up to five objects per folder. The full Windows version performs recovery offline; an online service works on Windows, iOS, macOS, and Android, and uploaded files are deleted after 30 days. That service has no PST/OST size limit, charges by original file size, and requires payment before downloading the recovered PST. A personal license costs $39 one-time.
