The record

Product: userTourKit is a source-available, headless library for building product tours and onboarding flows in web applications.
Frameworks: The site lists React, Vue, and Svelte bindings, with Next.js also shown among supported frameworks.
Tour features: The library provides guided product tours with steps and spotlight overlays, plus persistent hints and beacons.
Onboarding features: Its packages include checklists with task dependencies and progress tracking, announcements, feature adoption tracking, and in-app surveys.
Analytics integrations: Official analytics plugins are listed for PostHog, Mixpanel, Amplitude, and Google Analytics 4.
AI integrations: The AI package connects through the Vercel AI SDK to OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, or other supported models.
Accessibility: The maker says the library targets WCAG 2.1 AA and includes keyboard navigation, focus management, and screen-reader support.
Customization: The headless architecture lets developers compose Tour Kit logic with their own UI or use its pre-styled components, and the site lists shadcn/ui compatibility.
License: Packages are under BSL 1.1, free for development and evaluation, and each published version converts to MIT on its Change Date.
Production limits: A production project is defined as a registrable domain, so a root domain and its subdomain count as one project.
Support: The maker directs bug reports and feature requests to GitHub Issues and asks license-support requests to include an order ID.
Maintainer: The project is maintained by software engineer Dominique Degottex and described as a single-maintainer project.
Security and compliance: The maker's about page says source, CI, benchmarks, and documentation are in a public monorepo with reproducible builds; no specific security certification is stated on the opened pages.
AI requirements: The AI package requires a server route to protect the model API key; client-only or static sites need a proxy or backend.
