The record

Product: Vision 8 is a computer-assisted mass appraisal (CAMA) platform for assessment communities.
Designed for assessors: Assessors and appraisers on VGSI’s Customer Advisory Board custom-built Vision 8 for the needs of the assessing community.
Configuration: Users can add, edit, hide, or relabel fields, select features in an admin module, and use a built-in Property Record Card editor.
Valuation: The platform supports cost, market, income, regression, condo value apportionment, and trending approaches to value.
Reporting: Its report writer includes ready-made reports, drag-and-drop fields, filters, formatting, and export to multiple formats.
Sketching: Vision Sketch lets assessors see value impact while sketching, edit shapes, and export sketches to multiple formats.
Integrations: VGSI says Vision 8 can integrate with third-party tax, billing, and building permit software and includes GIS with bidirectional CAMA sync.
Security: The product page lists permissioning and security features and describes security as fully compliant, without naming a compliance standard.
Cloud hosting: VGSI offers cloud hosting that it says allows access or edits from anywhere with an internet connection and provides immediate support and faster updates.
Platform technology: The product page says Vision 8 uses a SQL Server database and Microsoft .NET framework and can scale to any number of property accounts.
Support: VGSI lists customer support at (800) 628-1013 ext. 3 and [email protected].
Training: A customer testimonial on VGSI’s product page describes configuration assistance, webinar training, and on-site training during an upgrade.
Public access: VGSI says its online Vision websites let taxpayers access community data and can reduce office inquiries.
Pricing: The product pages direct communities to request a demo or contact sales; they do not state a software price.
