RIM announces BlackBerry Bold Touch 9900 and 9930

In our last post regarding BlackBerry we covered the upcoming BlackBerry Bold Touch however nothing much was known till this hour yesterday. At the BlackBerry World Conference held today, RIM revealed the BlackBerry Bold Touch 9900 and 9930.

Both of them have same form factor and comes with 2.8inch touch screen and even in the case of hardware specifications. Both the phones are almost same and they are designed likely to the current generation smartphone specifications.

They come with very powerful 1.2GHz processor and 768MB’s of RAM that’s really good combo according to us. Plus the all new very powerful BlackBerry 7 OS which outperforms unlike any other business smartphone when combined with the combo.

Screen isn’t big and that’s why it’s still BlackBerry, but phone is well capable to record HD videos at 720p and capture photos like other phones due to the 5mp camera.

Well then what’s the real difference between 9900 and 9930? Here’s what it is, BlackBerry 9900 is a GSM phone which comes with a quad-band GSM and tri-band HSPA+ support where as BlackBerry 9930 is a dual-band CDMA phone supporting quad-band GSM and dual-band HSPA+ global roaming.

Both of them have 8GB internal memory plus expandable microSD slot. They are gifted with the all new BlackBerry 7 OS with lots of new features which separate personal data from the corporate data and even support for the HTML5 videos.

Phone sounds really great, for corporate people we suggest it as must buy… it’s the thinnest Blackberry yet!
