Samsung Galaxy Note 3 rumors: Leaked picture, flexible display, 3 GB RAM, etc

The digital space is polluted by the noise made by Galaxy Note 3 rumors and an image from brings a leaked picture of the same. The image, which has a phablet put alongside Galaxy Note 2, contradicts previous rumors that Samsung will introduce a new aluminium-based design for its phablet flagship rumored to be unveiled on IFA 2013.

The leaked images is probably a fake since it bears GT-i9500 as the model number, which is the model number of international Galaxy S4. We have seen that the naming of Galaxy Note series always begins with the letter N. Further, there is no Samsung logo at the top or bottom and the gap between the physical home button and the screen is quite large.

Galaxy Note 2 vs Galaxy Note 3 unconfirmed

In another leak from SamMobile, Samsung is testing three different designs of Galaxy Note 3 versions: one that follows the design of Galaxy S4, one that features “a completely different design” and one that has a flexible display. Rumors have already come which alleges that the handset would feature a flexible OLED display. There were other allegations pointing at Samsung shifting from plastic to metal, a concern aroused in Samsung from HTC One build quality.

The same report from SamMobile further adds that the above leaked picture was not a Galaxy Note 3 prototype but a ZOPO ZP950 phone in the making. In another rumor, a new set of specifications is rumored for Galaxy Note 3 which includes a 3 GB RAM.

Here is the list of specifications from the leak:

  • 5.99 inch Full HD Super Amoled display
  • Exynos 5410 Octa core processor with 2.0 GHz quad core A15 CPU and 1.7 GHz quad core A7 CPU
  • 3 GB of RAM
  • 32 GB internal storage
  • Micro SD card support
  • Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean

Different reports have already falsified the reports of a metal design Galaxy Note 3 and have acknowledged delay of the flexible OLED displays from Samsung. Speaking of flexible OLED displays, LG has also announced its plans to launch a flexible OLED display by the end of the year.

Among so many different rumors popping up every now and then, it will be difficult to say what is going to be the official specifications, design and looks of the phablet but we will certainly not bet a single penny on the leaked image above.
