Notable Features

Stock Android

The 2.3 version Android of ZTE Skate is uncluttered and free from bootwares. So it works faster and smoother than some other Android Smartphones.

However, it’s not a complete jerk free experience as scrolling is often an issue to many users. Many even have experienced noticeable delay while hopping from one app to another.

The 4.3 inch massive display is obviously the USP is this smartphone. It’s true that no other budget Android phone offers such a large display in the market. The TFT LCD panel has resolution of 480X800 pixels which is quite incredible. Brightness is quite good too.

This handset is all most identical to the Orange Monte Carlo in terms of design. Overall design is quite good until you discover the cheap plastic casing of it. This is a real disadvantage.

Camera and Video Recording

This is yet another phone that lacks in camera quality. The images taken by it often look dull and less impressive. The LED flash of this handset is so powerful that images often become too overexposed.

Video recording is also unimpressive.

ZTE Skate Price

ZTE Skate is available at US $ 350.
