Having said that, most menus of VSCO app lie hidden. This ensures that the images are always front and center. The camera, on the other hand, lets you set exposure and focus separately by pinching out on the view.
One shortfall noticeable in the app is that VSCO does not support usage of the volume buttons to capture shots. Rather than this default method, you must tap the camera button visible at the bottom.
