- Choose the deliverable. Decide whether you need a complete audio draft, a sung melody based on lyrics, an instrumental, or editable MIDI. This choice determines whether you should begin with a song generator, a lyric-to-melody workflow, or a MIDI tool.
- Describe musical intent. Include the role of the piece, its mood, the parts you want, and any structure or style you can specify. For example: “A dark 140 BPM trap beat with drums, 808 bass, and a sparse melody.” Soundverse lists this kind of prompt and tempo control among its supported uses.
- Generate, listen, and revise one decision at a time. - Specific musical requirements: Do not infer precise genre coverage, instrument control, language support, or platform availability from a general claim that a tool composes music. Verify the particular feature with the vendor before building a project around it.

Yes: the clearest path is to choose a tool whose output matches your next step, then treat the generated piece as a draft to evaluate and edit.
