Overview

Anymail Finder is a business email search and verification service for teams that need to find or check work addresses. Its broad search options and large-file support suit prospecting and data workflows; its credit rules and shared-database privacy policy deserve a close look before use.

Founded in 2015 by a maker registered in the UK, it serves sales and RevOps teams, recruiters, agencies, founders, developers and data teams. The main draw is that a search costs credits only when it returns an email that passes live verification. That result-based billing is useful when coverage is uncertain, though decision-maker searches use credits faster than ordinary person or company searches.

Key features

Search, verify and upload

Search by a person’s name, domain, company, decision-maker role or LinkedIn URL. Bulk search accepts CSV and Excel files of up to 100,000 rows, combining discovery and live verification for larger prospecting or data-cleaning jobs. A separate email verification costs 0.2 credits per address; a verified person or company email costs one credit, while a verified decision-maker email costs two.

The maker reports that a 14-tool benchmark of 5,000 B2B contacts found verified emails for 86.4% of contacts at 98.9% accuracy. Those figures provide a useful performance claim, but they do not guarantee the same coverage for every list or audience.

API, extension and integrations

The REST API supports synchronous individual searches and bulk jobs delivered by webhook, making it suitable for both direct lookups and automated processing. The maker states no API rate limits. A Chrome extension finds verified addresses while browsing and draws from the same account and credit pool as the web app and API, so it adds convenience rather than a separate quota.

Integrations include Google Sheets, MCP clients such as Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor, Zapier, Make, n8n and Clay. These connections may suit teams that want to bring email lookup into existing workflows instead of managing a separate process.

Privacy and security

The privacy policy says verified business contact information may be retained in a shared database and returned to other customers. Customer lists, search history and search inputs are not made available to others as such, but teams handling sensitive prospect data should still weigh the shared treatment of verified contacts before uploading lists.

Security measures include HTTPS/TLS encryption in transit and storage, internal access controls, multi-factor authentication, security audits, vulnerability assessments and infrastructure monitoring. Hosting is on Amazon Web Services in the United States and Hetzner Online GmbH in Germany.

Pricing

Pricing starts at 29.00 USD per month for 400 credits. Monthly subscriptions range from 400 credits at 29.00 USD per month to 100,000 credits at 799.00 USD per month. Intermediate options are 1k credits at 49.00 USD per month, 2k at 89.00 USD per month, 5k at 149.00 USD per month, 10k at 199.00 USD per month, 25k at 299.00 USD per month and 50k at 499.00 USD per month.

Annual options are 4.8k credits at 348.00 USD per year and 12k credits at 588.00 USD per year. They lower the stated per-credit cost compared with the 400-credit monthly option, but require annual billing. The 400-credit plan is a modest starting point for occasional use; larger monthly pools better fit teams running regular list work. Unlimited team members share one pool with no per-seat charge, which benefits collaborative teams but makes usage allocation a shared responsibility.

Subscription credits roll over while the subscription remains active and expire at the end of the billing period after cancellation. One-time credit packs remain valid for 12 months. The service also offers a free plan and free trial, but no caps or trial duration are provided here; those terms matter when deciding whether the free access can support a meaningful evaluation.

Platforms

Anymail Finder is available on the web, through a Chrome extension and via API. The shared account and credit pool connect those routes, while bulk API jobs can return results by webhook.

Who it's for

It is a strong fit for sales and RevOps teams, recruiters, agencies and data teams that need verified business contacts, especially when handling large files or integrating lookup into a workflow. Founders and developers can also use the range of search methods and API. It is less suitable for organizations that cannot accept verified business contacts being retained in a shared database, or for buyers who need a published free-plan allowance or trial length to budget an evaluation.

Pros and cons

Pay for verified results: Unsuccessful searches cost nothing, limiting spend on fruitless lookups.
Large bulk capacity: Uploads of up to 100,000 rows support sizable contact lists.
Flexible access: Web, extension, API and workflow integrations cover both manual and automated use.
No per-seat fee: Unlimited team members share credits, avoiding a seat-based charge but requiring teams to manage a common pool.
Credit costs vary: Decision-maker emails cost twice as much as standard verified emails, so role-focused prospecting can consume credits quickly.
Shared contact database: Verified business information may be reused for other customers, a meaningful privacy trade-off for sensitive lists.

Alternatives

For a wider comparison, see Email Finder Software and B2B Contact Data Providers.

Snov.io is worth considering if a freemium model and a trial with 50 credits, 100 recipients and one email warm-up slot fit your evaluation needs.
Kaspr may suit buyers who want a free per-user allowance that includes 15 B2B email credits, five phone credits and five direct email credits each month.
SalesQL offers a free tier with 50 credits per month, one seat and 100 campaign recipients, making it an option for a small-scale start.
Skrapp.io is another free-tier option, with 50 credits for one user and limited lead search.
Datagma may be preferable if a free monthly allowance of 90 emails and three phone numbers, plus API access and WhatsApp integration, matches the workflow.
Hunter offers a free tier with 50 monthly credits, Discover filters, one connected email account and 500 recipients per sequence.
GetEmail.io has a free allowance of 10 monthly credits, CSV download and API access.
GetProspect is an alternative to consider.

Verdict

Anymail Finder is best for teams that need verified business emails at scale and value broad search methods, bulk uploads and workflow connections. Its pay-for-verified-results approach and unlimited shared seats are compelling; the variable credit cost and shared-database policy are the main reasons to look elsewhere.
