Overview

Members can check in with QR or barcode passes, a shared link or a web kiosk; staff can also record attendance manually. Attendees do not need to install an app, which keeps the check-in process accessible to occasional visitors as well as regular members. The tracker needs an internet connection to record arrivals, so venues with unreliable connectivity should look elsewhere.

Attenditai runs in a browser, with an optional kiosk app for iPad and Android tablets. It lists Android, iOS and web as platforms, and Google OAuth 2.0 sign-in. The company says data is encrypted in transit with TLS 1.2+ and at rest with AES-256, and that staff access requires customer permission. Primary data storage is in US East (Virginia); EU customer transfers are governed by Standard Contractual Clauses. The company says it cannot claim certifications it does not hold.

Key features

Recurring class rosters

Fitness operators can set class sheets by weekday, with rosters rolling forward automatically. That reduces repetitive setup for studios with a stable timetable, though it is less useful when sessions change frequently. Member lists can be imported from Excel or CSV, including names, photos and membership types, which gives operators a way to bring existing roster data into the system.

Reporting and locations

Attendance reports export to Excel or PDF and show trends across classes, instructors and time slots. Separate check-ins for studios or classes feed per-location reporting in one dashboard, making Attenditai a better fit for operators tracking activity across multiple sites than for a single group that only needs a basic register. Reports are unavailable on Free, so those exports require a paid plan.

Pricing

Attenditai uses a freemium model, with a free plan and a 30-day trial. The published pricing note says paid plans start at $99/mo (annual), while the plan table gives the following amounts in USD:

Free: 0.00 USD per free, billed forever. It supports up to 50 attendees, unlimited sheets and one extra team member, with QR/barcode, public QR link and Web Kiosk check-in. It includes limited AI credits and allows 200 emails per day, but has no RBAC, automations, reports or custom branding. This is the sensible starting point for a small group that can work within the attendee cap and does not need reporting.
Starter: 99.00 USD per year, billed annually. It raises the limit to 500 attendees and five team members, includes unlimited sheets, the same check-in methods, AI reporting credits, 2,000 emails per day and reports. It still lacks RBAC, automations and custom branding. This suits a growing studio that needs exports but can manage without role-based access controls or automation.
Business: 149.00 USD per year, billed annually. It allows up to 1,000 attendees and 15 team members, with unlimited sheets, the same check-in methods, AI reporting credits, 4,000 emails per day, reports, RBAC and automations. Custom branding remains excluded. It is the stronger fit for a larger operation coordinating staff roles or automating workflows.
Custom: 199.00 USD per year, billed annually. It supports 2,000+ attendees and 15+ team members, with unlimited sheets, the same check-in methods, AI reporting credits, a custom daily email limit, custom reports, RBAC, automations and custom branding. This is aimed at organizations that have outgrown the stated attendee and team limits or need tailored reports and branding.

The plan table's annual amounts and the pricing note's $99/mo (annual) starting price use different terms, so readers should confirm the applicable billing amount before subscribing. The free plan's 50-attendee limit is the main constraint for small operators considering whether to stay at no cost.

Platforms

Attenditai is browser-based and lists Android and iOS alongside web. Its optional kiosk app runs on iPad and Android tablets.

Who it's for

The fitness solution is aimed at gyms, Pilates and yoga studios, martial arts schools, sports clubs and recreation centers. It makes most sense for organizations with recurring sessions, spreadsheet-based member data and a need to compare attendance across classes, instructors or locations. It is a weaker choice for groups above 50 attendees that need to remain on the free plan, or for any venue that cannot rely on an internet connection during check-in.

Pros and cons

Pros: Multiple check-in methods, including manual entry, let operators accommodate both self-service and staff-managed arrivals without requiring attendees to install an app.
Pros: Weekday-based recurring rosters, spreadsheet imports and exports provide a practical workflow for established class schedules and existing member lists.
Pros: Per-location reporting in one dashboard supports operators tracking attendance across studios or classes.
Cons: Free is limited to 50 attendees and excludes reports, RBAC and automations, making it a poor long-term fit for larger groups or reporting needs.
Cons: Check-ins require internet access, ruling it out for locations with unreliable connectivity.
Cons: Starter does not include RBAC or automations, and even Business lacks custom branding; teams needing those capabilities must move up to a higher tier or the Custom plan.

Verdict

Attenditai is a good fit for fitness operators who need recurring rosters, flexible check-in and attendance reports across classes or locations. Its free plan is a useful entry point for groups of up to 50, while paid plans add headroom and reporting; the internet requirement and rising plan limits make it the wrong choice for offline venues or groups that need more capacity without upgrading.
