Overview

The workspace brings messaging, web chat and email together, with support for WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook Messenger, TikTok Business, LINE, Telegram, web chat, in-app SDK messaging and email. Teams can manage social conversations and comments, assign work, and automate replies. That breadth is useful when customers arrive through many channels, but may be more machinery than a team with a single support inbox needs.

Mixdesk is the global brand of Beautiful Interaction International Co., Limited, a Hong Kong-headquartered company founded in 2014; the global brand launched in 2024.

Key features

Shared conversations and workflows

Conversations can be routed to a team, an agent or an AI Agent. Automation also covers follow-ups, broadcasts and team workflows. This gives managers ways to structure handoffs and recurring work, rather than relying only on manual assignment. The unified social inbox, comment management and reply automation make Mixdesk relevant to teams that handle both direct messages and social comments.

AI and translation

AI Agents can respond from approved knowledge, qualify leads, take configured actions and hand a conversation to a person with context. Mixdesk says its agent can understand and reply in 27+ languages, with real-time two-way translation. These capabilities suit teams serving customers across language boundaries, but the AI message allowance is available only on Pro and Expert; Free and Essential include none.

Connections, support and security

Coze and Dify integrations, open APIs, SDKs and webhooks give teams options for connecting Mixdesk with websites, apps and internal systems. Mixdesk also offers onboarding, workflow guidance, training and ongoing support for complex deployments. Enterprise capabilities include private deployment options, a dedicated delivery and onboarding team, 24/7 priority support and SLAs.

The privacy policy says Mixdesk uses encryption, anonymization, access controls and security audits. Conversation content used by features powered by OpenAI GPT may be sent to OpenAI for processing after the user gives explicit consent, a consideration for teams setting AI and data-handling policies.

Pricing

All plans include unlimited teammates with no per-seat fee, which makes team size less of a pricing variable. Paid plans are billed monthly. AI messages are metered separately from conversations, and third-party channel charges, such as WhatsApp fees, are billed by the providers.

Plan	Price	Included	Best fit
Free	0.00 USD per free	10 conversations, 10 connected channel accounts, 100 translation characters and no AI messages	Initial evaluation or very low-volume use; the conversation and translation caps make it a poor fit for ongoing busy support.
Essential	49.00 USD per month	Unlimited conversations, 10 connected channel accounts, 10K translation characters and no AI messages	Teams that need ongoing multichannel conversations and modest translation, but not AI responses.
Pro	199.00 USD per month	Unlimited conversations, 5,000 AI messages/month, 20 connected channel accounts and 100K translation characters	Teams that need AI assistance and more channel accounts, while keeping a defined monthly AI allowance.
Expert	Custom pricing	Unlimited conversations, 30,000 AI messages/month, custom connected channel accounts and 500K translation characters	Deployments needing a larger AI allowance or tailored channel-account capacity.

A free trial is available. Free is tightly constrained by its 10-conversation limit and 100-character translation allowance; Essential removes the conversation cap but still offers no AI messages. Pro is the first plan with an AI allowance, so teams should weigh its 5,000 monthly messages against anticipated usage. Expert raises that allowance to 30,000 and permits custom account counts, with custom pricing.

Platforms

Mixdesk is available on Android, iOS and the web, and provides an API. The mobile apps can suit teams that need to keep up with conversations away from a desktop, while the API supports system connections.

Who it's for

Mixdesk is a strong candidate for global sales, support and ecommerce teams coordinating conversations across social channels, web chat and email. Translation, assignment and AI handoffs address real operational needs in that setting. A smaller team with little cross-channel complexity, or one that needs AI responses without stepping up from Essential, should compare simpler or differently priced options.

Pros and cons

Pro: Broad channel coverage and a shared inbox bring social, web, in-app and email conversations into one workflow.
Pro: Routing, follow-ups and contextual AI handoffs support more structured service and sales operations.
Pro: Unlimited teammates without per-seat fees avoids a seat-based charge as teams grow.
Con: Free is limited to 10 conversations and 100 translation characters, so it is a narrow trial rather than a durable plan for active teams.
Con: Free and Essential have no AI messages; the first AI allowance is Pro at 199.00 USD per month.
Con: AI messages and third-party channel fees are separate cost considerations beyond conversation volume.

Alternatives

Apollo is a freemium option with a free plan, API access and sequences; choose it instead when those listed sales tools matter more than Mixdesk's multichannel customer conversation workspace.
Calendly has a free plan with one event type and one calendar connection; choose it for straightforward scheduling rather than shared customer conversations.
LimeCall is a paid phone-focused option with a Virtual Phone Starter plan at 7.50 USD per month, billed yearly; choose it when inbound and outbound calling is the priority.
Factors.ai offers a free plan and company identification allowances; consider it when tracked users and identified companies are the main need.
RevenueHero offers a Lite Essentials plan at 15.00 USD per month with unlimited meetings and form submissions; choose it for booking and form workflows rather than multichannel support.
inSale.ai offers a Launch plan at 49.00 GBP per month with AI and outreach credits and one team seat; consider it for email and SMS outreach workflows.
Factors.ai has a paid Lite plan at 199.00 USD per month after trial; compare it if a paid Factors.ai plan is a better fit for your needs.
Intentsify Intelligence Activation Platform offers intent-activated advertising and lead-generation solutions.

Verdict

Choose Mixdesk if your sales, support or ecommerce team needs one place to coordinate customer conversations across channels and languages, with routing and contextual AI handoffs. Its unlimited teammates and broad workflow options are meaningful advantages for a growing operation. Look elsewhere if you need AI on a lower-cost tier, expect to exceed the defined AI allowances, or only need a simpler single-channel tool.
