Overview

LeadSuccess is a trade-fair lead-management tool from Messe Frankfurt, built for exhibitors who need to capture stand contacts and organize follow-up. Its main appeal is a free entry tier with a clear upgrade path to richer capture and event analysis; teams needing inexpensive recurring software or broad, always-on CRM functionality should look elsewhere.

Key features

Lead capture spans ticket QR-code scanning, business-card digitization, and manual entry. Basic handles QR codes, while Classic adds the other two methods. Offline capture is supported, which helps teams continue collecting contacts when event connectivity is unreliable. Digital questionnaires add a way to qualify leads, and paid tiers let users attach photos, voice notes, or sketches to preserve conversation context.

Contacts are stored in the LeadSuccess portal and can be exported. Excel is included from Basic; the package overview also identifies PDF, CSV, and custom-format exports. Classic adds automated mailings described as GDPR-compliant, and the package overview includes a GDPR signature field. The product can export data directly to CRM systems such as Salesforce, HubSpot, and Dynamics, and a REST API interface is possible.

Premium adds an interactive dashboard for real-time analysis, extended visitor data, and cross-analysis of selected data. Professional adds a comparison of the stand's scanned leads with the full trade-fair visitor population. That makes Professional the relevant upgrade for exhibitors seeking an event-wide benchmark; teams that only need to collect and follow up contacts can avoid paying for the analysis tiers.

Pricing

Plan	Price	What it includes
Basic	Free	5 app licenses, ticket QR-code capture, and Excel export; included in the marketing package.
Classic	204.00 EUR per once	Basic features, business-card scanning, manual entry, photos, voice memos, sketches, and automated mailings.
Premium	316.00 EUR per once	Classic features, dashboard charts, data cross-analysis, and extended visitor data.
Professional	527.00 EUR per once	Premium features plus comparison of scanned leads with all trade-fair visitors.

Basic is the practical choice for teams with up to five app licenses that can work with QR capture and Excel export. Classic is the step up for exhibitors who need business-card or manual capture and richer contact notes; Premium is for teams that will use analytical breakdowns, while Professional is for those who need the broader visitor comparison. The paid prices are one-time charges, not monthly subscriptions. The cheaper tiers give up the higher-tier analysis, and Basic also lacks Classic's additional capture methods and attachments.

Platforms

LeadSuccess is available on Android, iOS, web, and Windows, with an API platform also listed. That range suits event teams working across mobile devices and a web portal, while the API option gives integration-minded organizations another route to connect data.

Who it's for

LeadSuccess fits exhibitors who collect prospects at trade fairs and want to carry qualification and conversation context into sales and marketing follow-up. It is strongest when the event itself is the organizing unit: the free tier handles straightforward QR capture, and higher one-time tiers add richer records or trade-fair analysis. It is less compelling for teams seeking a general-purpose CRM or recurring, usage-based event software.

Pros and cons

Pros: Basic includes five app licenses at no cost, so small teams can start with QR capture and Excel export without a software charge.
Pros: Offline capture, qualification questionnaires, and attachments help preserve more than a bare contact record during busy event conversations.
Pros: Premium and Professional provide progressively deeper analysis, including a comparison against all trade-fair visitors at the top tier.
Cons: Basic is limited to ticket QR-code capture; business-card scanning, manual entry, and media attachments require the 204.00 EUR per once Classic plan.
Cons: The more advanced dashboards and visitor analysis are reserved for one-time upgrades costing 316.00 EUR per once and 527.00 EUR per once.
Cons: Basic's five-license allowance may not cover a larger booth team.

Alternatives

For a broader comparison, see Event Lead Capture Software. Choose LeadLens instead if a free plan with a 25-lifetime-scan allowance or a 200-scan monthly Starter tier better matches a smaller, scan-capped workflow. Meetopio is worth considering when voice captures and AI follow-up drafts are central to the process; its free seat caps both scans and voice captures at 10 per month. xh is an open-source command-line HTTP client, rather than a trade-fair lead-capture tool. Consider BagEvent if event and attendee limits with a paid monthly Pro plan suit your event operations. ExpoPlatform is another freemium event platform. BoothIQ may suit teams looking for an individual free plan with unlimited leads, AI summaries, and offline mode. Capture Show Leads is an option for buyers seeking a paid, per-show, per-seat package. Scan2Lead uses event-day credits, with each credit covering one employee for one trade-show day.

Verdict

LeadSuccess is a sound fit for exhibitors who want a low-cost start to trade-fair contact capture and a direct path from basic collection to richer qualification and event analysis. The free five-license Basic tier is the clearest reason to choose it; look elsewhere if your team needs broad CRM functionality, substantially more seats at no charge, or a different usage model.
