Overview

En Voiture Simone is a French driving school that pairs theory-test preparation with driving lessons and exam support. It is best suited to learners who want to arrange study and instructor-led practice through one service. Its free theory course is a useful starting point; the main commitment to weigh is that pack driving hours expire after one year.

Key features

Theory preparation: The free course includes 140 lessons, 2,000 questions and 50 exam-aligned series, plus mock exams, themed practice, error review and progress statistics. That gives learners a broad set of ways to study before paying for a driving pack.
Exam booking and support: Learners can book the theory-code exam in the app. En Voiture Simone also organizes the practical exam and says the instructor accompanies the learner on exam day, connecting lesson booking with exam preparation.
Driving lessons: Learners can choose a state-certified instructor and book lessons seven days a week, from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. The company says it has instructors across France and offers lessons near home, work or school. Its reported average is 4.91 out of 5 from 394,786 lesson ratings over the previous 12 months.
Financing and support: Some training offers are eligible for France’s CPF personal training account. A searchable help center and contact form provide routes to customer support. The homepage states that the school is Qualiopi-certified.

Pricing

The free Code de la route plan is free and provides unlimited, ad-free online theory training, 140 course sheets, 2,000 questions, 50 exam-aligned series and personalized practice modes. It is the right starting point for learners who want to prepare for the theory test without committing to driving lessons.

For learners who already have the code, Pack Permis sans code — boîte automatique costs 549.00 EUR per once and includes 12 driving hours, unlimited driving e-learning, exam registration and support. The equivalent manual option, Pack Permis sans code — boîte manuelle, costs 679.00 EUR per once and includes 17 driving hours with the same e-learning and exam support. Both give up the premium theory course and printed booklet included in their complete-pack counterparts.

Pack Permis — boîte automatique costs 559.00 EUR per once and adds complete licence training, a premium theory-code course and printed code booklet to the 12-hour automatic package. Pack Permis — boîte manuelle costs 689.00 EUR per once and includes the same complete-training additions with 17 driving hours. Each pack can be paid in 3 interest-free installments. The included driving hours are valid for one year, so learners should consider whether they can schedule their lessons within that period.

Platforms

En Voiture Simone is available on Android, iOS and the web. Its app supports theory preparation and booking for both the theory exam and driving lessons.

Who it's for

This is a strong fit for driving-test candidates in France who want one service for theory study, instructor selection, lesson booking and practical-exam support. The free theory plan also suits learners who want to begin preparation before choosing a paid pack. Those who already hold the theory code can avoid paying for the complete theory course by choosing a sans-code pack. It is less suitable for anyone unlikely to use the included driving hours within a year.

Pros and cons

Pro: The free theory plan includes extensive question and lesson material, exam-aligned series and progress tools, so learners can prepare without buying a driving pack first.
Pro: Lesson booking, instructor choice and exam support sit alongside theory preparation, reducing the need to coordinate those steps separately.
Pro: Lessons are offered seven days a week across a long daily window, with the company describing instructor coverage across France.
Con: Pack driving hours expire after one year, which can put pressure on learners whose schedules make regular lessons difficult.
Con: Sans-code packs omit the premium theory course and printed booklet, so learners who need complete training should compare the modest price difference with the complete pack.

Alternatives

For learner-facing theory practice, Stych is another freemium Android, iOS and web option; its free Code Eco plan includes 5,000 questions and 30 mock exams. Choose it if that free question and mock-exam package better suits your study needs. For broader options, browse Driver Education Software.

Passdesk, Fahrschule.live, Total Drive, simplyADI, directio, Ornikar and Diesel Xtrem Pro are other options to compare.

Verdict

Choose En Voiture Simone if you are preparing for a driving test in France and want free theory study connected to instructor booking and support through the practical exam. Its breadth of preparation and lesson scheduling is the main draw; the one-year validity on pack hours is the key reason to look elsewhere if your availability is uncertain.
