Passdesk

Product: Passdesk provides driving-school management software and a self-management toolkit for solo learners in the UK and Ireland.
School tools: The school workspace combines lesson scheduling, payments, learner progress, theory practice, route planning and waitlists.
Scheduling: The calendar supports drag-and-drop scheduling, repeating lesson slots, automatic reminders and cancellation-policy enforcement.
Payments: Passdesk uses Stripe for card checkout and saved-card payments, including deposits and policy-based late-cancellation or no-show fees.
Learner progress: The progress rubric covers five test categories, tracks test readiness and adapts to manual or automatic transmission.
Theory practice: Theory practice includes 14 DVSA categories and mock tests using a 57-minute timer and a 43/50 pass mark; theory practice is switched off in Ireland because an RSA theory bank is not yet available.
Route planning: Learners can use practice routes by test centre and draw routes, upload GPX files or record routes from a phone.
Offline use: The in-car mobile flow queues lesson data offline and syncs it when the device reconnects; Passdesk can be installed on an iOS or Android home screen.
Integrations: Scheduling can sync with Google Calendar and Outlook, and the UK expense ledger provides tax exports for Xero and FreeAgent.
Security: Passdesk states that data is hosted in London, encrypted at rest and in transit using TLS 1.2+, and handled under UK and EU GDPR; it says it does not yet hold ISO 27001 or Cyber Essentials certification.
Support: The Instructor plan includes email support, while the Scale plan includes priority support.
Migration: Passdesk says it provides free migration from another diary app on any plan, including during the trial.
Trial: Schools receive a 14-day free trial and solo learners receive a 7-day free trial, with no card needed to start either trial.
Company: The maker identifies itself as Passdesk Ltd, registered in England and Wales under company number 17193377.
