Overview

The product handles more than proposal drafting: users can create, manage, share, track and sign proposals, contracts, statements of work, reports, presentations, pitch decks, quotes, NDAs and webpages. That joined-up workflow is useful when a document needs to move from first draft through client review and signature. For occasional, simple documents, the breadth may be more than necessary.

Proposal.biz says professionals at more than 100 companies use the service. Users retain ownership of uploaded and created content, and the company says it does not sell that content or use it for unrelated advertising. It describes HTTPS transmission, password-protected accounts and limited production-system access, alongside reasonable organizational, administrative, physical and technical safeguards.

Key features

AI can create a full document from a prompt or URL, including sections such as scopes of work, deliverables, case studies and pricing tables. It can also rewrite, structure and evaluate material, and learn from user feedback. Content Master turns information from uploaded files or URLs into reusable blocks such as service descriptions, testimonials, team bios and FAQs. This is a practical fit for repeat proposal work, though the free plan's 1,000 lifetime AI credits are a finite allowance rather than a recurring monthly budget.

Imports include PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OpenDocument, CSV, TXT, HTML and XML files up to 15 MB. The range supports bringing existing sales and business material into the workflow, but the per-file size cap may constrain larger source documents. Built-in e-signatures are included across the listed plans, so signing does not require moving to a separate tier.

Client tracking can show opens, viewers, time spent on sections, forwarding and where engagement drops off. Those signals can help a freelancer or sales team decide when and how to follow up; they are most useful when clients actually review proposals through the platform. Online payments are processed through Dodo Payments using major credit and debit cards.

HubSpot, Zoho, Slack, email notifications and Google Drive are among the integration options described, but the full integration suite is reserved for Professional and Business. Salesforce, Pipedrive, Stripe, PayPal, Razorpay and Microsoft Teams are marked as upcoming, so teams that depend on those connections should not treat them as current options. The MCP server also allows compatible agents such as Claude to create and manage proposals through its endpoint.

Pricing

The Free Forever plan is free and is aimed at solo creators. It includes one seat, one workspace, 1,000 AI credits per workspace, three content sources, 50 documents and 25 pages per document, with no credit card required and access without signup. That is enough to try the workflow or handle modest volume, but the lifetime credit and document caps make it a poor fit for sustained, frequent production.

Starter costs $29 per month, or $19 per month with yearly billing. It includes one seat, 2,000 AI credits per workspace, 10 content sources, limited integrations and e-signatures. This is the paid step for an individual who has outgrown the free caps, but it does not provide the full integration suite.

Professional is $59 per month or $39 per month with yearly billing, and includes three seats, 6,000 AI credits per workspace, 30 content sources, all integrations, custom branding and a custom domain. It is the most relevant tier for small teams that need shared work and broader connections. It adds chat and email support with a 24-hour response.

Business is $149 per month or $89 per month with yearly billing. Its 10 seats, 10,000 AI credits per workspace and 100 content sources suit growing teams, while advanced analytics, priority support with a four-hour response and BYOK are its distinguishing provisions. Annual billing saves up to 21% compared with monthly pricing. Plans can be canceled at any time without a fee and remain active through the current billing period. A 14-day trial is also offered.

Platforms

Proposal.biz runs on the web, making it accessible through a browser. No mobile or desktop app is identified among its supported platforms.

Who it's for

Solo creators can use the free plan to test AI drafting and signing without entering payment details, while freelancers who need higher allowances can consider Starter. Professional is a better match for small teams needing three seats, custom branding or the full integration suite. Business is aimed at teams of five to 20 people that need more seats, advanced analytics or faster support. It is less suitable for buyers whose required integrations are still upcoming, or for occasional users who only need a basic proposal.

Pros and cons

Pros: AI drafting, reusable content, e-signatures and engagement tracking cover several stages of proposal work in one service.
Pros: The free tier requires no signup or credit card and includes 50 documents, giving solo users room to assess the workflow.
Pros: Professional and Business include all integrations, while upper tiers also add more seats and support options.
Cons: Free use is limited to 1,000 lifetime AI credits, 50 documents and 25 pages per document.
Cons: Starter offers only limited integrations; buyers needing the full suite must move to Professional or Business.
Cons: Several integrations, including Salesforce and Stripe, are upcoming rather than current.

Alternatives

Proposal Software is a useful starting point for comparing proposal tools across the category. Choose PandaDoc if Android or iOS access matters, or if its free plan's 60-document yearly allowance and two-recipient limit fit your needs. Proposal Expert is worth considering for a free allowance of three proposals per month, 25 AI credits and three e-signatures per month. PowerPropose may suit users who prefer a free plan with a 30-day Standard trial, one seat and limits of 10 active clients and 10 proposals.

Proposify is a paid alternative with a Basic plan at 29.00 USD per month, 10 sends per month and a $0.50 per-send overage. Anchor offers platform access with no subscription fee and unlimited users, companies, clients, proposals and agreements. Trumpet has a free plan with 10 Pods per account and unlimited users. Cord has a free plan with five active quotes, five sent quotes per month and three AI generations per month. DraftYourBid provides a free plan limited to three generated documents per month, one seat and three clients.

Verdict

Proposal.biz is a strong choice for solo professionals and small teams that want AI-assisted business documents, signing and client engagement signals together. The no-signup free plan is a low-friction starting point, and Professional is the sensible step for teams that need three seats and the full integration suite. Look elsewhere if your workflow depends on integrations still marked upcoming, or if the free plan's lifetime AI-credit and document limits cannot support your volume.
