Overview

Quota, ramp time, attainment and hiring plans sit in one capacity model, with rates and assumptions editable in one place. GTMKit presents that model as a single, current source for sales and finance, and changes flow through its capacity calculations in real time. That can reduce the effort of reconciling separate planning inputs, especially when hiring plans change.

The product is focused on capacity and quota planning, not pipeline forecasting. Its setup does not require implementation or consultants, according to the maker, which makes it a more direct option for teams seeking a dedicated quota model rather than a broader sales system.

Key features

Scenario planning: Model alternative hiring plans and compare them side by side. This makes staffing trade-offs easier to evaluate against targets, but two scenarios on Starter may be restrictive when several plans need comparison.
Capacity and ramp calculations: Add representatives with start dates, quotas and OTE to calculate ramped capacity over time. This connects headcount assumptions to expected quota coverage rather than treating hiring as a separate spreadsheet exercise.
Targets and dashboard: Set monthly or quarterly targets, see where capacity is above or below target, and track ramping representatives, quota coverage and capacity gaps on a real-time dashboard. That gives planners a view of gaps as well as topline capacity.
Forecasting and recommendations: Starter includes basic forecasting; Pro adds the AI GTM Agent, with AI-powered hiring recommendations based on targets and the current team. The feature is most relevant to teams that want recommendations within their capacity planning workflow.

Pricing

GTMKit uses a freemium model, with a free trial also offered. Starter Plan costs 0.00 USD per month (billed $0/month) and includes up to 10 reps, two scenarios, basic forecasting and email support. It is a sensible starting point for a small team validating a capacity-planning workflow, but the caps can make ongoing planning awkward once headcount or scenario comparisons grow.

Pro Plan costs 199.00 USD per month (billed $199/month). It removes the representative and scenario limits and adds the AI GTM Agent, priority support and custom segments. Pro is the more practical fit for teams planning across a larger sales organization or comparing multiple hiring paths; the monthly price is a clear step up from Starter, so the additional capacity matters most when those limits are binding.

Platforms

GTMKit Quota Planning runs on the web. That suits teams working from a shared browser-based plan, but no other platform is offered in this listing.

Who it's for

Sales leaders, revenue operations, finance teams and FP&A professionals are the intended audience. It is strongest for organizations that need quota, ramp and hiring assumptions tied together, and less suitable for teams whose primary need is pipeline forecasting or a general-purpose sales platform.

Pros and cons

Pro: One editable model links quota, ramp, attainment and hiring plans, keeping capacity assumptions together.
Pro: Real-time calculations and side-by-side scenarios help teams see the capacity effect of hiring changes against targets.
Pro: Starter provides a no-cost way to begin with up to 10 reps and two scenarios.
Con: Starter’s 10-rep and two-scenario limits may be too tight for expanding teams or broader planning comparisons.
Con: The product focuses on capacity and quota planning rather than pipeline forecasting.

Verdict

GTMKit Quota Planning is a strong fit for sales and finance teams that need a shared, responsive view of quota capacity and hiring scenarios without an implementation effort. Its focused model and free Starter plan make it approachable, but teams with more than 10 reps, more than two scenarios, or a need for pipeline forecasting should look beyond Starter or choose a broader alternative.
