Overview

Hotelary.ai brings ten layers together: PMS, reservations, guest AI, revenue, distribution, operations, housekeeping, POS, finance and CRM. That breadth could reduce the work of coordinating separate tools, but also means it is a broader operational commitment than a standalone booking or accounting product. Hotelary was founded in 2024 and is headquartered in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India.

Its standout workflow is WhatsApp booking automation. The AI can answer inquiries, check availability, calculate pricing, collect payment and book without staff intervention. HAAVIS handles voice and text booking conversations in more than 30 languages, which is useful for hotels fielding frequent messaging inquiries. Properties that rarely book through messaging may have less reason to prioritize this capability.

Key features

Bookings and distribution

The channel manager syncs with MakeMyTrip, Goibibo, Booking.com and other OTAs; Hotelary's software page also names Agoda and Expedia. Bi-directional inventory updates take under 60 seconds, alongside rate parity and overbooking prevention. That can help properties keep channel availability aligned, although the value depends on how much business they receive through those channels.

AI rate shopping provides live competitor rates and recommends whether to raise, hold or lower prices. The first month of rate pulls is free, offering a limited way to assess the pricing workflow before paying for those pulls. Hotels that already manage rates manually should weigh whether these recommendations justify the added usage cost.

Migration, security and support

Hotelary supports migration from most popular PMS systems and says its team handles the transfer to avoid data loss. API imports are listed for eZee Absolute, Hotelogix, Opera Cloud, Cloudbeds and RMS Cloud, with CSV and Excel upload also supported. That gives hotels several stated routes into the system, though the listed API coverage does not include every PMS.

The privacy policy says data is encrypted at rest with AES-256 and in transit with TLS 1.3, with role-based access controls, row-level security and daily backups. Hotelary states compliance with GDPR, India's Information Technology Act 2000 and the DPDP Act 2023. It says customers own their operational data and that it does not sell guest data or share it with OTAs. Email support promises a response within four business hours; WhatsApp chat and phone support run Monday through Saturday, 9 AM to 7 PM IST.

Pricing

Hotelary has a free option and paid subscriptions billed monthly. The paid plans are priced by room count, and both the India and International plans add usage charges, so the starting price is not a complete cost estimate for a property.

Plan	Price	What it means
HAAVIS Free	Free	Text concierge and a one-line website embed, with a prominent HAAVIS by Hotelary mark. It is a narrow entry point rather than the full white-label offering.
International	49.00 USD per month, billed monthly; plus usage	Subscription by room count. It is the listed starting paid option, but usage charges and room count affect the cost.
HAAVIS Pro	999.00 INR per month, billed monthly	Premium spoken voice, custom domain and full white-label; AI usage is metered separately. It suits hotels that value branded voice booking, but metered usage adds a variable charge.
India	2999.00 INR per month, billed monthly; plus usage	Subscription by room count, with usage charges on top. The room-count basis means properties should assess their own total rather than rely on the listed price alone.

The free plan's visible Hotelary branding and text-only concierge make it a limited fit for a property seeking a fully branded guest experience. HAAVIS Pro adds voice and white-label capabilities, but it is a separate HAAVIS plan and AI usage is metered. Multi-property accounting, bank reconciliation, consolidated reporting, payroll accounting, department reporting and an audit trail are supported, which makes the platform relevant to operators with financial workflows beyond reservations.

Platforms

Hotelary.ai runs on the web. That suits teams working through a browser, but hotels specifically seeking a listed Android or iOS app should compare alternatives.

Who it's for

Hotelary says it serves independent hotels, boutiques, resorts, hotel groups, business and budget hotels, homestays and guest houses from 4 to 400 rooms. Its strongest fit is a property that wants messaging-led booking automation, OTA synchronization and hotel operations and finance in one system. A hotel that needs only accounting, or does not expect to use WhatsApp automation, may prefer a more focused product.

Pros and cons

Pros

Automated WhatsApp bookings: the AI workflow can take an inquiry through availability, pricing, payment and booking without human intervention.
Broad hotel coverage: ten operational layers plus multi-property accounting and reporting support a wider set of hotel workflows than a booking-only tool.
Migration options: API imports for five named PMS products, spreadsheet upload and team-managed migration give hotels multiple stated paths to move data.
Defined support channels: email response within four business hours and scheduled WhatsApp and phone support provide clear expectations for assistance.

Cons

Variable paid cost: room-count pricing and usage charges mean the starting subscription price does not establish the total bill.
Limited free branding: HAAVIS Free is text-only and carries a prominent Hotelary mark.
Metered AI on Pro: the plan's voice and white-label features still incur separately metered AI usage.
Web platform only: Hotelary does not list a mobile platform, which may not suit teams seeking a dedicated app.

Alternatives

For a wider set of hotel accounting choices, browse Hotel Accounting Software.

Docyt is worth considering when a free accounting-focused option is the priority: its free Accountant Copilot plan includes AI categorization, bank and card reconciliation, and month-end close automation, and it has Android, iOS and web platforms.
Exceed HMS is an option for buyers seeking a paid hotel management system with Android and self-hosted platforms, as well as web access.
Xero Expenses is a paid alternative with Android, iOS and web platforms for buyers considering expense management rather than Hotelary's broad hotel operating scope.
Credvue may suit a single-property buyer focused on OTA settlement reconciliation, banquet and advance billing, and tax workflows; its listed Single Property plan is 14999.00 INR per month for 1 property and 5 users.
Hotel Investor Apps is another paid option with Android, API, iOS and web platforms.
Fairmas offers modular hospitality software with Android, iOS and web platforms; contact the provider for demo and pricing.
Inn-Flow uses custom pricing, with most applications priced by hotel and month and Labor Management and Payroll using employee-count tiers.

Verdict

Hotelary.ai is a strong candidate for hotels with 4 to 400 rooms that want WhatsApp booking automation alongside channel management, operations and finance. The main reason to choose it is the combination of unattended multilingual booking conversations and a broad hotel operating system. Look elsewhere if you need a dedicated mobile app, a narrowly scoped accounting product, or predictable pricing without room-count and usage charges.
