Overview

Voxjar turns calls into material for quality assurance: it transcribes interactions, evaluates them against team-defined standards, and produces summaries and coaching overviews. Custom criteria, scorecards, conditional logic, and weighted questions give QA managers room to tailor reviews rather than work from a single fixed rubric. Calibration tools and compliance reviews support oversight; the focus remains voice calls, not a broader set of QA channels.

Conversation insights can help managers spot agent strengths and weaknesses as well as recurring topics. Voxjar says it transcribes calls in more than 100 languages. The company began in 2015, exited its speech analytics business in 2021, and launched its AI-focused product in 2024 and beyond.

Key features

Scoring and review

AI evaluations begin at one credit per minute of audio, with advanced and reasoning models using more. That makes the chosen model and call volume relevant to the amount of automatic QA a team can run. If credits run out, automatic evaluations stop until the next billing cycle or an add-on credit purchase. Manual QA remains available, so review can continue, but teams lose automated coverage in the meantime.

Integrations, privacy, and support

Connections include Aircall, Amazon S3, Azure Blob Storage, Five9, Genesys Cloud, NICE CXone, RingCentral, Slack, and Microsoft Teams. Voxjar says it maintains SOC 2 Type II, encrypts data in transit and at rest, and does not use customer conversations, transcripts, or evaluations to train models. Optional PII redaction is available on all accounts at no charge. Free and paid users can reach email and in-app support through Intercom and use self-service documentation; Enterprise adds dedicated support options.

Pricing

The freemium structure makes it possible to try Voxjar before committing, but the free plan is a small-scale allowance rather than an ongoing high-volume QA setup.

Basics: Free. Includes 3 users, 120 AI credits, approximately 2 hours of Auto QA, one-call-at-a-time uploads, and basic QA tools. It suits a small team assessing the workflow, but the user and credit caps constrain routine automated coverage.
QA Pro: 90.00 USD per month, billed monthly; annual billing offers “Save 10%.” It includes unlimited users, approximately 500 hours of Auto QA per year, bulk uploads, integrations, automations, reporting, coaching, and audit logs. This is the more capable fit for teams moving beyond a limited trial, although the annual Auto QA allowance still makes credit consumption worth monitoring.
Enterprise: custom pricing. It adds custom credits, SAML 2.0 SSO, custom integrations and data pipelines, realtime evaluations, white label, and sub accounts. Voxjar positions it for BPOs, agencies, and organizations with special requirements.

A 14-day trial is available. The published plan details do not give a separate trial allowance, so the practical choice after evaluating the product is between the capped Basics tier and paid QA Pro.

Platforms

Voxjar is available on the web. Its QA channel is voice, which makes it a focused choice for call centers and teams reviewing phone interactions rather than organizations seeking multi-channel QA in one platform.

Who it's for

Voxjar suits QA managers who need custom scoring rules and want evaluation connected to coaching, reporting, and integrations with their calling or storage tools. Basics can serve a small team validating the approach. QA Pro fits organizations that need bulk processing and broader team access. BPOs and agencies with custom integration, identity, or account-structure needs should consider Enterprise. Teams with high call volumes should plan around credit consumption; those needing QA beyond voice should look elsewhere.

Pros and cons

Pros: Configurable scorecards with conditional and weighted questions make evaluation adaptable to team standards.
Pros: Summaries, agent insights, and coaching overviews connect call review with follow-up.
Pros: Free Basics and no-charge optional PII redaction lower the barrier to evaluating the service.
Cons: Automatic evaluation pauses when credits run out, which can interrupt coverage until the next cycle or a credit purchase.
Cons: Basics is limited to 3 users and roughly 2 hours of Auto QA, while paid QA Pro is 90.00 USD per month.
Cons: The product focuses on voice QA and web access.

Alternatives

For a wider comparison, see Call Center Quality Management Software.

Choose QualityDesk if mobile access matters: it supports Android, iOS, and web, and its free plan includes up to 10 users, evaluation and coaching features, a knowledge base, and templates. Convin is another option if a free manual QA platform with call-auditing templates, automated audit workflow, and reporting is the priority.

MaestroQA may suit teams that value a defined agent-run allowance: its free plan includes 100 Agent Runs per month, unlimited Q&A, and $100 in AI credits. MyQM Auto QA is an alternative for teams willing to book a demo for pricing rather than start with a published free plan.

Call Optix may fit teams seeking a published analysis-minute allowance: its Starter plan is 149.00 USD per month for 2,500 analysis minutes per month, up to 5 agents, core intelligence features, and 30-day data retention. Enthu.AI is worth comparing for its Growth plan, priced at 59.00 USD per agent per month for up to 25 voice agents and 60 hours per agent per month.

OttoQA is another call QA option. QUALICORE is another alternative.

Verdict

Voxjar is a strong fit for voice-focused teams that want to define their own scoring rules and connect evaluation to coaching without starting on a paid plan. Its main advantage is the combination of configurable AI scoring, insights, and QA workflows; its central trade-off is credit-based automation that pauses when the allowance is exhausted. Choose it if those controls and coaching tools fit your call-review process, and look elsewhere if you need broader QA channels or predictable automatic coverage without watching credit use.
