Overview

Scidoo CRM is a guest relationship platform for accommodation businesses, with tools for organizing profiles, outreach and feedback around a stay. It is most compelling for operators who want those workflows connected to Scidoo’s hospitality software. The broad scope is a strength, but the custom-priced plan requires a demo before buyers can judge the cost.

Key features

Guest profiles collect preferences, stay history, requests and contact channels in one place, with segmentation for targeted outreach. Reservation sync and the connection to Scidoo’s PMS help keep that context tied to quotes and bookings, which matters when staff need a continuous guest record rather than a separate marketing list.

Communications bring together WhatsApp, email, OTA and social channels, with chatbot and SMS also supported. Marketing flows can cover pre-arrival offers and upsells, in-stay concierge messages, and post-stay questionnaires, reviews, loyalty and remarketing. That range suits teams trying to coordinate contact across a guest’s stay; properties that only need occasional email campaigns may find the broader setup unnecessary.

Feedback tools include multilingual questionnaires, alerts, statistics, sentiment and guided replies. These give teams several ways to organize survey and review follow-up, particularly for properties serving guests in multiple languages. Loyalty programs add a post-stay retention component.

Scidoo’s partner ecosystem connects with payment systems, reservation channels, cash registers, home automation, invoicing, access and hospitality services. Authorized third-party systems can read or manage data through the API, with permissions limited to approved functions. That offers a route to connect other property tools, while making integration dependent on the systems a hotel authorizes and uses.

The software is cloud based and can be accessed from desktop, tablet and smartphone. Scidoo also describes an ID Scan and Privacy module for digitizing guest acknowledgment and signatures for GDPR privacy information. The provider says it offers assistance seven days a week and staff training, with support from programmers specializing in hospitality.

Pricing

Scidoo CRM is paid, with custom pricing. Its CRM plan has no published price; properties must request a demo to discuss cost. A demo is the stated route to assess the product, and no trial duration is given.

That makes the plan difficult to compare on budget before speaking with Scidoo. The CRM includes reservation sync, guest messaging, loyalty programs, guest segmentation and a mobile app, but no seat counts, usage quotas or tier differences are provided. Buyers should weigh the breadth of guest workflows against the effort of getting a tailored quote.

Platforms

Scidoo supports Android, iOS, Linux, macOS, Windows and web access, as well as an API. Cloud access from desktop, tablet and smartphone suits teams working across front-office devices, while the API is relevant to properties connecting authorized third-party systems.

Who it's for

Scidoo names independent hotels, hotel groups, campsites and villages, B&Bs and holiday homes as intended customers. It is a stronger fit for properties looking to combine guest records, communications, feedback and loyalty with Scidoo’s PMS and other hospitality modules. A business seeking a low-cost standalone CRM with a published entry price should look elsewhere.

Pros and cons

Pros: Guest profiles, segmentation, messaging, marketing and feedback cover multiple stages of the stay, which can help hospitality teams coordinate guest engagement.
Pros: PMS connectivity and reservation sync keep guest history, quotes and reservations connected, useful for properties already using Scidoo modules.
Pros: API permissions are limited to authorized functions, giving properties control over third-party access.
Cons: Custom pricing and a demo-led buying path make it harder to assess affordability before contacting the provider.
Cons: The CRM’s fit is less clear for operators who do not need the wider set of hospitality workflows or Scidoo integrations.

Verdict

Scidoo CRM is a good candidate for accommodation operators who want guest profiles, messaging, marketing, feedback and loyalty connected to reservations and Scidoo’s hospitality modules. Its main draw is the breadth of that connected guest journey; its main drawback is custom pricing that forces buyers to request a demo before comparing costs. Choose it when that integration is central to the property’s workflow, and look elsewhere if a transparent entry price is a priority.
