Overview

Redo is a cloud-based post-purchase platform that brings returns, order editing and other ecommerce services into one suite. It is best suited to Shopify merchants who want to offer returns and let shoppers correct orders after checkout without paying a separate fee for order editing.

The platform also covers exchanges, warranties, tracking and customer communication, with tools for claims, fulfilment, upselling and revenue recovery. Redo says it serves more than 4,500 brands. Its breadth can help merchants consolidate post-purchase workflows, but eligibility and support terms deserve close attention.

Key features

Returns and exchanges: Redo combines a self-serve returns portal with exchange workflows, automated refunds, inspections and warehouse routing. Real-time analytics and return-specific AI agents add operational tools, while Redo covering return-label costs is a meaningful benefit for merchants managing return expenses.
Order editing: Shopify shoppers can change variants, addresses, items and discount codes, or cancel orders. The feature has no monthly fee, per-order charge or feature gate, making it an unusually low-friction way to let customers fix mistakes. It is not a fit for merchants without a Shopify-enabled online store and valid Shopify account.
Additional services: Redo offers claims, shipping and fulfilment, warranties, order tracking, checkout optimization, one-click upsells and revenue recovery. The mix is useful for merchants seeking several post-checkout tools, but charges vary by service and usage rather than forming one simple suite-wide rate.
Integrations: Listed connections include Shopify, BigCommerce and Salesforce Commerce Cloud, along with Gorgias, Klaviyo, Recharge, Tapcart and Vajro. Carrier integrations include FedEx, UPS, USPS, DHL and Australia Post, supporting a range of ecommerce and shipping workflows.
Security: Redo states that it is SOC 2 compliant, undergoes annual independent audits and penetration tests, and encrypts data in transit with TLS and at rest with AES-256. It says payment details are handled by third-party integrations and that it stores no card data of its own.

Pricing

Redo uses a freemium model, with a free plan and paid services from $0.40. The plans use different billing bases, so merchants should assess each service against its own volume rather than assume a single price covers the platform.

Free services: Email & SMS costs 0.00 USD per month, billed per send, and includes add-to-cart email capability, an AI email and SMS builder, monthly AI personas and real-time analytics. Claims, Shipping & Fulfilment, Warranties and Returns are each free and include their respective portals or operational tools, with analytics; Returns includes Redo-covered return-label costs and return-specific AI agents. These free entry points offer useful functionality, though Email & SMS is still charged per send.
Contextual: 0.00 USD per month, billed per session, includes anonymous visitor identity resolution, abandonment flows for Klaviyo, Attentive and Postscript, server-side events and Meta CAPI enrichment. Session-based billing means cost depends on usage.
One click upsell: 0.06 USD per month, billed per order, includes product recommendations, continuous A/B testing, real-time analytics and adding an offer to the current order.
Order tracking: 0.08 USD per month, billed per tracked order, includes 23 transactional triggers, a dedicated tracking landing page, tracked return shipments and real-time analytics.
Checkout optimization: 0.40 USD per month, billed per order, includes audience segmentation, continuous A/B testing, real-time analytics and shipping-offer optimization.
Recover: 10.00 USD per month, billed as a percentage of recovered revenue, includes a four-step recovery process and live human conversations; the plan says merchants pay only for results.

Order Editing is free without monthly fees or per-order charges. A free trial is available. Merchants should account for per-send, per-session, per-order, per-tracked-order and recovered-revenue billing where applicable; no seat limits are stated for these plans.

Platforms

Redo supports api, ios and web. The platform is cloud-based and may include downloadable apps, APIs and websites.

Who it's for

Redo is a strong match for eligible Shopify merchants that want a free returns portal, label-cost coverage and no-charge order edits, especially if they also need other post-purchase services. Its integrations may suit stores already using the named ecommerce, customer-service, marketing or carrier tools.

It is a weaker choice for merchants who do not operate a Shopify-enabled store, or who need guaranteed technical support: Redo’s merchant terms say it has no obligation to provide support, though it may choose to do so under applicable policies. Stores that need only one narrowly defined returns workflow may also prefer a specialist alternative.

Pros and cons

Pro: The free returns portal includes Redo coverage of return-label costs, reducing a direct expense for eligible merchants.
Pro: Order Editing lets Shopify shoppers change or cancel orders without monthly fees, per-order charges or feature gates.
Pro: Returns, exchanges, refunds, inspections and warehouse routing span more of the returns workflow than a portal alone.
Pro: The listed integrations cover major commerce platforms, customer tools and shipping carriers.
Con: Merchant eligibility requires a Shopify-enabled online store and valid Shopify account, limiting who can adopt the service.
Con: Several paid services are usage-based, so total cost can rise with sends, sessions, orders, tracked shipments or recovered revenue.
Con: Redo does not promise technical or other support under its merchant terms, which may be a concern for teams that require dependable assistance.
