Step 1: Set The Song Brief
Write a one-paragraph brief before opening a generator. Specify the listener, emotional arc, tempo feel, vocal viewpoint and required sections. For example: “A warm Christmas pop song about returning home, with a nostalgic verse, an uplifting sing-along chorus, a short bridge and a final chorus.” Keep the brief original and avoid naming a living artist as a style target.

Step 2: Draft And Structure The Lyrics In RHYMEBOOK
Open RHYMEBOOK, choose the genre, mood, theme and song structure, then ask for verse, pre-chorus, chorus and bridge ideas from your brief. Use its perfect, near and multisyllabic rhyme tools to tighten the chorus. Rewrite every line that sounds generic, check that the syllable counts are singable, and save the final text. The Free plan limits AI suggestions, chats, demos and transcription, so keep a local copy of the lyric.

Step 3: Make A Melody And Vocal Draft In LyricToMelody AI
Paste the finished lyric into LyricToMelody AI. Select a vocal direction, generate several melody drafts, and keep the version whose chorus is easiest to sing. Edit awkward notes, then export MIDI, audio and separate stems for your production session. Starter projects are retained for 7 days; paid plans include commercial rights.

Step 4: Generate A Complete Arrangement In Suno
Open Suno, enter the final lyric and describe the arrangement in plain language: seasonal bells, acoustic instruments, a clear lead vocal, dynamic verses and a larger final chorus. Generate multiple versions, then use editing, remixing, extensions or section replacement to repair weak passages. The Free Plan does not include commercial rights or stem separation, and the Pro Plan limits downloads to 20 songs per month, so check the plan attached to the version you intend to release.

Step 5: Refine Sections In Eleven Music When You Need More Control
For a producer-led revision, open Eleven Music, generate the song or import an audio reference, and edit only the verse, chorus or bridge that needs work. Use inpainting for a problem phrase, apply a genre transition where the bridge changes mood, and export stems or WAV for your session. The Free plan is limited to personal use; commercial rights vary by plan and exclude film, TV and studio games.

Step 6: Build A Separate Instrumental Bed In Soundverse

Step 7: Replace The Draft Vocal In Synthesizer V Studio 2 Pro
Import the exported MIDI and lyric into Synthesizer V Studio 2 Pro. Choose one included voice, then edit pitch, timing, pronunciation, timbre and expression phrase by phrase. Render the vocal and combine it with the instrumental stems in your DAW through the standalone application or a VST3, AU, AAX or ARA plug-in. The software does not provide voice cloning, so do not present a synthetic voice as a real singer.

Step 8: Export And Document The Release Version
Keep the final stereo mix, instrumental, vocal and MIDI files with the lyric and a note identifying which parts you wrote and which parts were generated. Confirm each platform’s current commercial-use terms before publishing, especially when a free plan created the audio. If a voice resembles a real person, obtain that person’s consent before using the voice or an uploaded vocal recording.
Rights And Copyright Checks
The U.S. Copyright Office says material generated entirely by AI is not copyrightable, prompts alone do not make someone the author, and only human-authored parts of a mixed work can be protected. Applicants registering a work containing more than a minimal amount of AI-generated material must disclose it and describe their contribution. Read the full guidance at copyright.gov/ai/.
