Make podcast music by generating a short instrumental cue, editing it into a clean intro, bed, transition, or outro, and checking the plan’s usage terms before publishing. For most shows, specify duration, energy, instrumentation, and space for speech instead of asking for a complete vocal song.
Plan The Cue Around Speech
Podcast music must support a voice. Write the production brief before opening a generator:
- Placement: intro, outro, transition sting, or under-dialogue bed.
- Length: give a target duration and request a clear ending for an intro or outro.
- Density: ask for restrained arrangement and leave room in the middle frequencies for narration.
- Shape: describe whether the cue should build, stay level, or resolve quickly.
- Sound: name instruments, mood, tempo, and the intended show subject without naming a living artist as a style reference.
Example brief: “Instrumental podcast intro, 12 seconds, confident but calm, soft synth pulse, muted percussion, warm bass, one clear finishing hit, no vocals, designed to sit under spoken narration.” Treat the result as a draft: the exact duration, loop behavior, loudness, and commercial rights must be checked in the selected product and plan.

Generate The First Draft
- Choose an instrumental mode. Select instrumental output where the product provides that option. If the interface does not document instrumental generation, do not assume it supports a voice-free cue.
- Paste the brief. Include placement, target duration, tempo or energy, instruments, and “no vocals.” Add “clean ending” for an intro or outro; add “steady texture” for a dialogue bed.
- Create several variations. Keep the brief stable and change one variable at a time, such as percussion density or harmonic mood. Save the prompt and version name with each render.
- Reject speech conflicts. Discard versions with prominent lead melodies, sudden fills, or dense low-mid instruments that compete with the host.
- Export the highest-quality available file. Prefer WAV or lossless export when the product offers it. Otherwise use the documented MP3 export and keep the original download untouched.

- Trim the entry and exit. Remove silence and choose the point where the musical idea becomes recognizable.
- Make speech space. Lower or remove instruments that mask the host’s voice. If you exported stems, rebalance drums, bass, melody, and ambience separately.
- Create usable sections. Keep an intro and outro version, plus a shorter transition cut if the source allows clean editing. Do not claim a seamless loop unless you have checked the join by listening.
- Match the edit to the show. Put music under speech only where it improves pacing, and end the bed before it distracts from a key sentence.
- Render and label versions. Keep a high-quality master, a podcast-ready mix, and notes containing the product, plan, prompt, generation date, and rights status.
Check Consent And Usage Rights
Use only lyrics, voice references, uploaded audio, and samples you have permission to use. A tool’s ability to generate or transform a voice does not establish consent from the person represented. For commercial podcast publication, follow the selected plan’s license and platform terms; where those terms are not stated here, check the vendor’s current site before release.
