How To Make AI Wedding Rehearsal Dinner Music

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Make the dinner set in two layers: an instrumental bed for conversation and one short personalized song for the couple. Draft the words first, generate several restrained arrangements, then export stems or audio for a final volume and timing pass. The workflow below uses tools whose documented features match those jobs.

Define The Dinner Brief Before Generating

Write a one-page brief so every generation serves the event rather than sounding like a generic wedding track.

  • Room: Note whether guests will talk through most of the meal. Choose a steady, low-density arrangement for arrivals and courses.
  • Emotional arc: Mark where the music should feel welcoming, reflective, playful, or celebratory.
  • Personal details: List names, shared places, family references, and one or two stories that can become lyric images.
  • Timing: Set target lengths for arrival music, dinner ambience, and the dedicated song. Ask each generator for a clear ending when the track must stop for a toast.
  • Delivery: Decide whether you need a stereo file, separated stems for mixing, or MIDI for editing in a DAW.

Choose A Tool For Each Part Of The Set

Job Suitable tool Documented capabilities Rights or limits to check
Conversation-friendly instrumentals Mubert Generates from text, images, mood, genre, and BPM; paid plans support tracks up to 25 minutes. Ambassador has 25 generations and 5 MP3 downloads monthly. Creator is non-commercial; commercial use starts with Pro.
Editable style-based instrumentals AIVA Generates in more than 250 styles, accepts audio or MIDI influences, and lets you edit generated tracks. Free is non-commercial with 3 downloads per month. Standard monetization is limited to specified social platforms; vocal generation is unavailable.
Complete personalized song Suno Generates songs with vocals, lyrics, instrumentation, and production; supports editing, remixing, extensions, section replacement, and stem export. Free does not include commercial rights or stem separation. Pro limits downloads to 20 songs per month.
Producer-style vocal or instrumental revisions Eleven Music Generates full songs with AI vocals, lyrics, or instrumental tracks; supports section editing, inpainting, genre transitions, audio references, and stems. Free is personal-use only. Commercial rights vary by plan and exclude film, TV, and studio games.
Instrumental stems and MIDI Soundverse AI Beat Maker Generates drums, basslines, melodies, and arrangements, then exports WAV mixes, separated stems, and MIDI. Free Tier starts with 1,000 tokens. Commercial licenses are listed for Creator & Pro.
Lyrics, melody, and DAW handoff LyricToMelody AI Generates melodies and sung vocal drafts from lyrics or MIDI, supports custom singing-voice training from uploaded or recorded vocals, and exports MIDI, audio, and separate stems. Starter projects are retained for 7 days. Commercial rights are included on paid plans. It is a web application.

Step 1: Draft A Personal Lyric Without Putting Private Details In A Prompt

Write a compact lyric outline yourself: one verse about how the couple met, one verse about family or friends, and a chorus that guests can understand after one listen. Use concrete images instead of a list of biographical facts. Keep names and sensitive information out of shared prompts until you are comfortable with the service’s terms.

For a melody-led workflow, paste your draft into LyricToMelody AI and request a sung vocal draft. If you already have a tune, provide MIDI and compare the generated phrasing with your intended cadence. Save the MIDI, audio, and stems so you can revise words without rebuilding the arrangement.

Step 2: Generate The Dinner Instrumental

  1. In Mubert, describe the room function first, then mood, genre, and BPM. Example: “Instrumental background for a rehearsal dinner, warm and graceful, gentle acoustic textures, light percussion, moderate BPM, no dramatic drop, seamless ending.” Generate several versions and reject any track that competes with speech.
  2. In AIVA, choose a style that fits the brief and use an audio or MIDI influence when you need a consistent motif. Edit the generated track so introductions and endings align with service, speeches, or a toast.
  3. If you want individual parts for mixing, use Soundverse AI Beat Maker. Ask for a complete instrumental arrangement, export the WAV mix, then export separated stems and MIDI for level, timing, or instrumentation changes.

Specific wedding substyles, instrument combinations, and duration controls are not established for every tool. If a generator does not expose the exact style or length you need, check its current product documentation before committing to the set.

Step 3: Create The Personalized Song

  1. Use Suno when you want a complete vocal song from a lyric and a style brief. State the occasion, emotional arc, approximate length, and a clean ending. Try multiple arrangements, then use editing, section replacement, or extensions to repair one weak verse instead of accepting a full reroll.
  2. Use Eleven Music when you need section-level control. Generate a vocal or instrumental starting point, then use inpainting or genre transitions to adjust the chorus, bridge, or outro. Export stems when you need to balance a vocal under dinner-room playback.
  3. For a human-sounding custom line, return to LyricToMelody AI and train a singing voice only from vocals you have permission to upload. Compare the result with the original speaker’s wishes before using it at the event.

Step 4: Edit For A Real Dinner Timeline

  • Place the least busy tracks under guest arrival and meal service.
  • Reserve the personalized song for a defined cue, such as the first toast or dessert, and leave enough silence afterward for applause.
  • Use stems or MIDI to lower competing parts rather than raising overall loudness.
  • Render a continuous playback file and label every cue with its event time. Confirm the venue’s playback setup can open the exported format.

Step 5: Check Consent, Rights, And Attribution

Get permission before uploading anyone’s voice, recording, or private lyric. Do not imitate a recognizable singer or use a cover unless the people involved and the platform terms allow it. Commercial and event-use permissions differ: Suno’s Free Plan excludes commercial rights, Eleven Music’s commercial rights vary by plan, Mubert commercial use starts with Pro, AIVA Free is non-commercial, and LyricToMelody AI includes commercial rights on paid plans. Soundverse lists commercial licenses for Creator & Pro. Check the current terms for the exact plan and use.

The U.S. Copyright Office says material generated entirely by AI is not copyrightable, prompts alone do not make the user the author, and only human-authored parts of a mixed work can be protected. If you register a work containing more than a minimal amount of AI-generated material, you must disclose it and describe your human contribution. Read the Copyright Office report and registration guidance.

Step 6: Rehearse The Playback

  1. Play the complete set in the same order and approximate volume planned for dinner.
  2. Ask someone to hold a normal conversation while the instrumental tracks run; remove any section that masks speech.
  3. Test the personalized song’s cue, ending, and restart behavior.
  4. Keep the final stereo files, stems, MIDI, and lyric sheet in one clearly named folder, with a backup available offline.

Suggested Starting Setup

For a small team, start with Mubert for the long instrumental bed, LyricToMelody AI for the lyric-to-vocal sketch, and Suno or Eleven Music for the finished personalized song. Move to Soundverse when you need instrumental stems or MIDI, and use AIVA when an editable style model or influence track is central to the arrangement. Verify each tool’s current plan terms before public playback or paid event use.
