Generate several versions, keep the strongest sections, and export stems or MIDI where the chosen tool supports them.
What Metalcore Requires From An AI Workflow
Metalcore depends on contrast and timing: palm-muted low riffs against open chords, syncopated accents, fast drums against half-time breakdowns, and vocal changes that make each section identifiable. A useful prompt names the arrangement and performance details rather than only saying “metal.” Ask for a short intro, two contrasting verses, a large chorus, a pre-breakdown tension build, a half-time breakdown and a final chorus. Step 1: Write A Metalcore Arrangement Brief
- Write the target length and section order before generating: “four-bar intro, verse, pre-chorus, chorus, second verse, breakdown, final chorus.”
- Specify the rhythmic identity: “tight palm-muted low-string chugs, syncopated rests, double-kick energy, then a wide half-time breakdown.”
- Describe the vocal plan separately: “harsh verse delivery, clean melodic chorus, a short gang response before the breakdown.” Do not request an imitation of a named singer.
- Add production intent such as “guitars and drums stay forward; leave space for bass and vocals.” This is a direction for generation, not a guarantee of a mix result.
Step 2: Generate The Instrumental Skeleton
Start in Beat Shaper or Soundverse AI Beat Maker when you want editable rhythm material. Step 4: Shape The Breakdown And Transitions
- Choose the strongest verse and chorus from separate generations.
- Replace or regenerate the four to eight bars before the breakdown so the drum fill and silence create a clear drop.
- Keep the breakdown rhythm simple enough to lock with bass and kick; remove decorative parts that weaken the accent pattern.
- Use extensions or section replacement in Suno, Eleven Music or Mureka where available. Loudly can remix uploaded audio, but its free generated tracks are limited to 30 seconds.
Step 5: Edit In Stems, MIDI Or A DAW Project
Export the format your plan provides. Beat Shaper can export MIDI, WAV, MP3, stems and DAW projects; Soundverse provides WAV mixes, separated stems and MIDI; Mureka provides audio and MIDI export; SongMusic.ai lists MP3, WAV, MIDI and stems on eligible plans. Build a practical session with drums, bass, guitars or harmonic bed, lead vocal, harsh vocal, clean vocal and effects. Quantize only the parts that need alignment: small timing variation can keep a breakdown from sounding mechanical.
Step 6: Revise With Targeted Prompts
Make one change per generation so you can identify what helped. Examples: “Keep the chorus melody and replace only the verse riff with tighter syncopation”; “Keep the breakdown rhythm, add a two-beat stop before the downbeat”; or “Preserve the clean chorus, make the second verse harsher and shorter.” If the service cannot isolate a section or export the needed part, render that version as a reference and rebuild the section in your editable session.

- Use only lyrics, recordings and voice references you created or are authorized to use. Custom voice or cover features require the relevant person’s consent.
- Suno’s Free Plan does not include commercial rights. Eleven Music’s free plan is personal-use, and commercial rights vary by plan with exclusions for film, TV and studio games.
- Loudly’s paid licensing depends on the selected plan. SongMusic.ai limits commercial use to work generated on Professional plans. Soundverse lists commercial licenses for Creator & Pro.
