One free scan finds every outdated or missing driver and matches the right update for your exact hardware.Free scan · exact hardware matchYou can write and produce a complete song in 12 hours by fixing the song’s scope early, drafting lyrics and a clear musical brief, generating a small number of candidates, revising one arrangement, then checking and exporting a final mix. Use the schedule below as a hard deadline: the aim is one finished, listenable version, not a limitless search for the perfect take.
Choose A Workflow That Fits The Song
Pick one primary tool for each job before the clock starts. The tools below have documented lyric, song-generation, editing, export, or mastering functions that fit a compressed writing-and-production session. Their listings do not establish support for a particular genre, vocal style, tempo, or 12-hour workflow; check the vendor’s site for those specifics.
| Tool | Useful Role In This Session | Documented Details |
|---|---|---|
| SongIntent | Draft and revise the song’s lyrics, flow, structure, or melody ideas. | Supports cadence capture, melody sketches, structure, and line-level revisions. Its Free plan lists one render, five AI assists, and one active project per month. |
| RHYMEBOOK | Develop lyric options and check rhyme choices. | Supports genre, mood, theme, and song structure in AI generation; rhyme tools include perfect, near, and multisyllabic rhymes in 24 languages. Text is the listed export format. |
| Suno | Generate a complete song, then revise sections or export stems if your plan supports it. | Supports songs with vocals, lyrics, and instrumentation; editing, remixing, extensions, section replacement, and stem export. Free Plan excludes commercial rights and stem separation. |
| Eleven Music | Generate and edit a song, or prepare producer-oriented files. | Supports section editing, inpainting, genre transitions, audio references, stems, and MP3/WAV exports. The Free plan is personal-use only and has browse-only Marketplace access. |
| iZotope Ozone | Master a finished mix in a DAW workflow. | Ozone Advanced includes 20 mastering modules and individual component plug-ins, with AU, AAX, and VST3 support for major DAWs. It is limited to macOS and Windows hosts. |
Set The Scope Before You Start
Choose one emotional premise and one point of view. A short, repeatable structure keeps lyric writing and arrangement decisions manageable: for example, verse, chorus, verse, chorus, bridge, final chorus. Decide whether the song needs a vocal or instrumental treatment, and name the sound you want in plain musical terms. A specific genre is a creative choice here, not a capability established for every tool above.
Write a one-sentence brief that you can reuse in prompts: “A [genre or reference description] song about [specific situation], from [point of view], with [mood] energy and a chorus that lands on [central phrase].” Add instrumentation, tempo, language, and vocal direction only when you have chosen them yourself. Verify that the selected product supports each requested detail before depending on it.

Use A 12-Hour Production Schedule
- Hour 1 — Lock The brief. Write the one-sentence premise, choose the structure, and pick a working title. Limit the song to one central idea that can be stated clearly in the chorus.
- Hours 2–3 — Draft The lyric. Write the chorus first, then build verses that add new information rather than restating it. Mark any line that must remain unchanged. Use SongIntent for cadence or line revisions, or RHYMEBOOK for rhyme options; choose one lyric workspace to avoid splitting versions.
- Hour 4 — Check singability. Speak or sing each line over a steady pulse. Trim phrases that are hard to say in one breath, keep the chorus phrasing consistent across repeats, and note where the melody should rise, fall, or leave space. Treat these as human editorial decisions, not guaranteed tool outputs.
- Hours 5–6 — Generate a small set of musical candidates. Use the brief and complete lyric in Suno or Eleven Music. Ask for one arrangement at a time, specifying the section order and broad sound you chose. Example prompt: “Create a [genre] song about [situation], with [mood] energy. Use verse, chorus, verse, chorus, bridge, final chorus. Keep the chorus centered on ‘[hook]’; leave space before the final chorus.” Check each requested control against the product before relying on it.
- Hour 7 — Choose one candidate. Listen for a memorable chorus, intelligible lyric delivery, and an arrangement that gives the hook room. Keep one candidate and write down no more than three changes; generating indefinitely consumes the hours needed to finish.
- Hours 8–9 — Revise the weak sections. Make targeted lyric or arrangement changes. Suno lists section replacement and extensions; Eleven Music lists section editing and inpainting. Use those functions only if available to your account, and check vendor documentation for exact controls and limits.
- Hour 10 — Review the full song. Listen from beginning to end without editing. Note abrupt transitions, repeated lines that no longer fit, masking between vocal and instruments, and whether the final section feels complete. Fix only issues that interfere with understanding or continuity.
- Hour 11 — Prepare and master the mix. Export a supported file from the chosen music tool. If you have a DAW workflow, Ozone is listed as a mastering suite for major DAWs on macOS and Windows. Avoid changing the arrangement during mastering; compare the result at a consistent playback level and undo processing that obscures the vocal or hook.
- Hour 12 — Export and document. Save the final audio and a copy of the lyric. Record which parts you wrote or materially revised, which tool outputs you retained, and the product plan and terms that apply to the release. Confirm the current export and usage conditions with the vendor before publishing.
Write Prompts That Narrow The Choices
Prompt with decisions you have already made. Avoid piling on contradictory adjectives or asking several tools to invent different songs at once. Keep a working prompt with the premise, structure, vocal or instrumental choice, and the two or three arrangement details that matter most.
- For a lyric pass: “Offer three alternatives for this line that keep its meaning and fit the surrounding rhyme. Do not rewrite the other lines.” SongIntent and RHYMEBOOK list lyric-generation or revision capabilities, but exact prompt behavior is not established; inspect the output and retain only lines you choose.
- For a musical draft: “Use [chosen genre description] and [chosen mood]. Keep the verse restrained, make the chorus broader, and leave a short gap before the hook.” Suno and Eleven Music list complete song generation; check whether the controls you want are available in your plan.
- For a revision: “Keep the selected chorus and lyric. Change only [specific section] to [desired musical change].” Suno lists section replacement and Eleven Music lists section editing and inpainting; their exact behavior and availability should be checked with the vendor.
Check Rights And Consent Before Release
Get consent before using another person’s voice or identifiable performance, and check each platform’s current terms for voice use, covers, samples, commercial use, and distribution. Suno’s Free Plan does not include commercial rights; Eleven Music’s Free plan is limited to personal use, and its commercial rights vary by plan and exclude film, TV, and studio games. The supplied listings do not establish rights for every use case or every other tool, so verify the terms that apply to your account and release.
