Abeka Homeschool provides curriculum and teaching materials for students from K4 through grade 12. Abeka Academy offers full-grade video instruction across language arts, math, history and geography, science and health, and Bible. Lessons are taught by master teachers and delivered by streaming or DVD. Abeka describes its curriculum as faith-based, with a biblical foundation and a spiral approach that revisits learning through repetition and reinforcement. Families can use a dashboard to customize a calendar, assign and track lessons, view grades and manage assignments; some functions depend on the products purchased. Digital textbooks are provided through VitalSource, and notes and highlights can be exported to Microsoft OneNote. The accredited Abeka Academy program is accredited by FACCS and MSA CESS; report cards and transcripts are available for an additional cost. Abeka lists lesson plans, assessments, parent guidance and offline access. A free trial is available, but there is no free plan. Prices vary by grade, course selection, program option and book purchases, and additional fees may apply.
