Baresto Manager

Product: Baresto Manager is a restaurant system for QR menus, waiter ordering, kitchen display, cashier workflows, and reports.
Waiter ordering: Staff can manage tables and floor plans, place mobile orders, send items to the kitchen, mark items delivered, and close tables with payment.
Kitchen display: The KDS shows tickets by table, supports dish status updates and kitchen, bar, and grill station filters, and provides real-time alerts.
Guest QR menu: The public guest menu supports Greek and English, allergens, availability, a call-waiter button, and per-table or shared QR codes.
Reports: Manager reports include revenue, orders, and top items, with CSV export.
Roles and login: The product provides password login and four-digit PIN login, with admin, manager, waiter, kitchen, and cashier roles.
Payments and receipts: The cashier workflow supports closing with cash or card and printing a receipt.
Internet and network: Daily service runs on the venue's LAN or Wi-Fi without always-on internet; internet is needed for downloads and updates.
Setup: The software runs locally on port 8765; Windows setup uses a GitHub ZIP and launcher, while macOS and Linux setup requires Python 3.11 or later.
Demo limitation: The live demo is shared, and the site advises users not to enter real customer data because data may be reset periodically.
Support: Optional paid installation support is available through the contact form, including help with Windows setup, networking, and initial configuration.
User guide: The bilingual staff guide covers waiters, kitchen staff, cashiers, managers, and administrators.
