BGRemove.video

What it does: BGRemove removes video backgrounds and returns a transparent video with an alpha channel.
Temporal matting: Its AI tracks subjects across frames to reduce flicker and preserve stable edges through motion.
Output: It exports transparent WebM using VP9 alpha and preserves the source video's dimensions.
Inputs: It accepts MP4, MOV, WebM, M4V, and GIF uploads up to 60 seconds long.
Background editing: Users can add a solid color, blur, image, or video behind a processed clip and export an MP4 for free without using another removal allowance.
Sign-in: Google is the only sign-in option, and the service says it does not receive users' Google passwords.
Privacy: The maker says uploaded footage is not used to train its models or its processing provider's models.
Security: The privacy policy states that traffic uses TLS, footage is encrypted at rest, and production data access is restricted to operators who need it.
Processing region: The pricing page says files are processed in the EU.
Retention: Uploaded footage and generated transparent videos are retained for 24 hours, then removed; deleting a file removes it immediately.
Limitations: The FAQ identifies glass, smoke, fine mesh, overlapping subjects that swap depth, and severely underexposed footage as difficult cases.
Manual refinement: BGRemove currently does not include manual edge refinement or a second-pass refinement mode.
Support: The maker lists [email protected] for help.
Intended users: The maker presents the service for creators and editors working with social clips, product footage, client work, and reusable transparent assets.
