Purpose: BlankComic is a free browser-based comic panel creator for storytellers, artists, and anyone with a story to tell.
Bubbles and text: It supports speech, thought, shout, and whisper bubbles, plus narration, captions, sound effects, and comic-style fonts.
Character colors: Users can save reusable character color schemes and apply them to panels.
Multi-page projects: Users can add, reorder, and duplicate pages and export all pages together as one PDF.
Page formats: Supported formats include US Comic, A4, Manga, Square, Webtoon, and custom page dimensions.
Local saving: Projects autosave to browser IndexedDB and can be saved or moved between devices as .blank files.
Privacy: The maker says projects stay in the browser and are never uploaded; the app has no server, database, or tracking.
Offline use: After the page loads, the app works offline, though internet access is needed to initially load it and access Google Fonts.
Third-party service: The terms state that the service loads fonts from Google Fonts and that font requests are governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
Output limitation: Exports use sRGB color space; CMYK export is not supported.
Support: The editor provides a Send Feedback link, and the terms provide an email contact for questions about the terms.
Intended users: The maker describes BlankComic as built for storytellers, artists, and anyone with a story to tell.
