Chord Analyser helps identify chords from notes entered on a piano keyboard or fretboard, then displays playable positions for the chosen chord. Its library covers more than 3,500 chords, with positions computed algorithmically. A chart editor supports measures, subdivisions, repeats, time and key signatures, playback, automatic voicing, and PDF export. The free version costs 0.00 USD per free, has no time limit or ads, and includes one chord chart. Further charts, MIDI input, open tunings, chart transposition, and eight additional instruments are part of the full version, a one-time payment whose price depends on the app store. Microphone recognition is an Android-only beta; it handles one chord at a time and may have difficulty on older phones. The maker says real-time audio transcription runs on-device without an internet connection. The app is available for Android and iOS and is described as serving learners, composers, performers, and musicians playing across instruments.
