The record

Product: Chunk Compass is a desktop Minecraft seed map for plotting points of interest with custom waypoints.
Map controls: The grid uses Minecraft world coordinates (+X east, +Z south) and supports panning and zooming.
Biome and terrain layers: It offers a toggleable biome layer, approximate hillshaded terrain for version 1.18+, and a depth selector for Surface, Underground (y=0), or Bottom (y=-51).
Structure finder: The structure finder includes landmarks such as villages, temples, monuments, ancient cities, trial chambers, strongholds, mineshafts, Nether fortresses, bastions, and End cities.
Dimensions: The dimension switcher supports the Overworld, Nether, and End, with map layers and new waypoints following the selected dimension.
Waypoints: Custom waypoints can store a name, X/Y/Z coordinates, dimension, category, colour, and notes.
Save format: Maps can be saved and loaded as .msf files, which use JSON under the hood.
Exports: The app exports waypoints to CSV or a Markdown note with a table.
Minecraft versions: The version picker spans Minecraft Beta 1.7 through the latest, but versions newer than 1.21.4 use the 1.21.4 world-generation model.
Version limitation: The v0.9.0 release says Sulfur Caves is listed but will not appear or highlight until the world-generation engine supports Minecraft 26.2.
Engine dependency: The biome and structure engine is cubiomes, bundled as cubiomes.dll; without that DLL the app runs as a grid and waypoint mapper with biome and structure toggles disabled.
Downloads: The v0.9.0 release lists ChunkCompass.exe as a portable single file and a Windows 64-bit MSI installer.
Updates: The app can check GitHub for updates and launch the installer when a newer release is available.
License: The repository identifies the project as MIT licensed.
