The record

Purpose: CommissionCentral calculates, records, and pays sales commissions inside Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
Plan builder: It supports date-scoped plans, ordered rate rules, tiered rates, and filters for salespeople, customers, items, and other dimensions.
Calculation methods: Commissions can be calculated as a percent of sales, a percent of margin, or a flat amount per unit.
Recognition timing: Commission can be recognized on posting, payment collected, or shipment.
Agent splits: A sale can be assigned across multiple agents, with active customer splits validated to total exactly 100%.
Payments: Payment batches can generate accounts-payable purchase invoices for vendor agents and payroll journal lines for employees.
Draws and caps: The system supports draws, advances, and period caps, applying the cap before netting draws and flooring net payable at zero.
Reporting: Managers can view outstanding, payable, and paid team totals with drill-down, and reports can show commission details and audit trails.
Audit controls: The commission ledger is append-only and records source documents, rules, calculation details, and posting users; credit memos create offsetting entries.
Approvals: Commission promotion to payable can be automatic or require finance or manager review and release.
Integration: The maker says CommissionCentral reads Business Central sales, customers, items, and vendors without external data syncs, middleware, or connectors.
Compatibility: The site describes CommissionCentral as a cloud-safe, upgrade-safe extension for Business Central SaaS.
Trial: Business Central users can try CommissionCentral in a sandbox; users without Business Central can request guided access to a demo environment.
Intended users: The maker describes the product for companies paying sales reps, channel partners, and managers, including internal employees and external vendors.
