The record

Purpose: Real Device Cloud runs enterprise iOS and Android tests on real devices, emulators, and simulators inside a private SBOX deployment.
Frameworks: It supports Selenium WebDriver, Playwright native context, and Appium for mobile testing.
Deployments: The three deployment models are Element34-managed, customer-provided, and fully isolated.
Managed devices: Element34-managed pools include iOS and Android phones, tablets, and selected legacy devices; the final pool is confirmed at deployment time.
Customer hardware: Customer-provided and fully isolated deployments use devices maintained by the customer’s hardware lab.
Security: Element34-managed device pools are single-tenant per customer, and devices are wiped and re-flashed between sessions.
Audit records: Each real-device session records the device fingerprint, OS version, app bundle ID, and test result in the SBOX session record.
Air-gap: Fully isolated deployments use customer-owned devices, customer-hosted SBOX, and a customer-managed bridge, with no external connectivity required for test execution.
Integrations: The product uses the SBOX grid and supports Selenium, Playwright, and Appium test frameworks with the same authentication and capability format as browser tests.
Rollout: The page says physical devices have been rolling out across customer instances since Q1 2026 and directs customers to sales for current rollout status.
Availability: The emulator and simulator addon has been live across the SBOX customer base since early 2026, according to the product FAQ.
Pricing: Real Device Cloud pricing is separate from the core SBOX license; the company says annual licensing is predictable across the contract term and offers scoped quotes through sales.
Target customers: The page describes fully isolated deployments as a fit for defense, government, and high-compliance financial customers with hard air-gap requirements.
Maker and support: Element34’s contact page says it has operated since 2015, is headquartered in Zug, and responds to legitimate contact form submissions within one business day.
