Family Nest is a family safety and location-sharing app for viewing family members’ locations and travel activity. It provides live location sharing, location history, and arrival and departure alerts for saved places. Safety tools include SOS alerts, Watch Over Me journeys, emergency contacts, and speed alerts. The app is available on Android and iOS, and its family membership covers up to five devices. The Monthly Family Pack costs $5.99 per month; the Annual Family Pack costs $39.99 per year. The FAQ describes a 21-day free trial on Android and says users can request free access after it expires. Location history beyond three days is recorded only for premium users, and non-premium members’ 30-day history will not appear to other members. The company says users control location sharing and who can see their location, and that it does not sell personal data. Location accuracy depends on device settings, connectivity, operating-system behavior, and GPS conditions; the terms do not guarantee real-time accuracy. There is no direct Windows or Mac support.
Who it is for
Family Nest suits families who want location sharing, saved-place alerts, and safety tools on Android or iOS. People who need direct Windows or Mac support should note that it is unavailable.
