The record

Purpose: Initio automates the intake path from a prospect’s first inquiry through consultation preparation, engagement, payment, and opening a matter.
Inquiry handling: It captures leads from a firm’s form and sends a personalized, firm-branded reply with a consultation booking link.
Intake forms: Practice-area-specific intake forms adapt their questions based on the prospect’s answers, and prospects can save and resume them.
Consultation preparation: Initio analyzes intake answers to provide a consultation brief with strategic considerations, red flags, conflict-check results, and a verification checklist.
Engagement workflow: After an attorney accepts a prospect, Initio can generate an engagement letter, collect an electronic signature and retainer, and create the matter when the required steps are complete.
Integrations: The product page identifies Cal.com for scheduling, PandaDoc for engagement letters and e-signatures, Confido Legal for trust-account payments, AWS S3 for matter documents, and Resend for email delivery.
Website forms: Firms can use Initio’s hosted inquiry form or connect an existing form through a webhook; the page names Gravity Forms, WPForms, Zapier, and custom builds as examples.
IOLTA payments: The pricing page says Automate includes retainer payment routing through a real IOLTA-compliant trust account provided by Confido Legal; Confido fees are separate from the Initio subscription.
Support: The terms say support is available by email on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Pacific Time, with a stated goal of responding within two business days.
No trial: The pricing page states there is no trial and that the first month is charged immediately at signup checkout.
Product limits: Initio says practice management work such as time tracking, billing, task management, and document drafting beyond engagement letters is outside the product; its matter workspace features are listed as coming soon.
Availability: At launch, Initio says it serves law firms in Oregon, Washington, and Idaho, with firms elsewhere able to join a waitlist.
Headquarters: Portland, Oregon
