The record

Product: Kelviq combines merchant-of-record services, subscription management, usage-based billing, and payments for SaaS, AI agents, and digital products.
Pricing models: It supports flat fees, per-seat, usage, volume, credits, pay-as-you-go, overages, one-time payments, and hybrid pricing.
Global tax: Kelviq says it acts as merchant of record and handles sales tax, VAT, and GST calculation, collection, and remittance.
Currencies: The platform offers localized pricing in more than 135 currencies.
Usage metering: It can meter API calls, tokens, storage, and active seats in real time, with soft and hard limits and usage alerts.
Credits: Businesses can include prepaid credits in plans, sell top-ups, allow rollovers, and configure expiring balances.
Entitlements: Kelviq lets sellers gate features by plan and enforce seat, usage, or API-call limits through entitlements.
Checkout and portal: Hosted checkout and a customer portal support purchases, plan changes, payment-method management, invoices, usage history, and receipts.
Integrations: The maker lists typed SDKs for TypeScript, React, Node.js, and Python, plus a REST API.
Payment security: Kelviq says Stripe Elements tokenizes card details in the browser, so full card numbers and CVCs do not pass through or get stored on Kelviq servers.
Refund fees: The original transaction fee is retained when a transaction is fully or partially refunded.
Dispute fees: A $15 fee applies when a customer disputes a charge, regardless of the outcome.
Eligible businesses: Kelviq is optimized for digital products and software, and says it does not support physical goods, manual services as the primary offering, or marketplaces.
Support: The documentation directs users with implementation questions or requests for a walkthrough to [email protected] or its demo booking link.
