The record

Purpose: Krellix Mail collects email and documents from Microsoft 365 and IMAP for defensible preservation.
Users: The product is built for solo attorneys, in-house counsel, and HR investigators.
Collection modes: Personal mode collects the operator’s own correspondence, while Enterprise mode collects from another custodian’s mailbox, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
Export formats: Exports include native .eml files, searchable PDFs, attachments in original format, and a plain-text chain-of-custody manifest.
Integrity: The product computes SHA-256 and MD5 file hashes and seals the manifest with an RFC 3161 timestamp.
Verification: Every export includes a self-running verification script, and verifying an export requires no Krellix license.
Microsoft integration: Microsoft 365 sign-in uses MSAL in the system browser, and Krellix receives tokens rather than the user’s password.
Timestamp services: DigiCert is the default public timestamp authority, with Sectigo and GlobalSign listed as failovers.
Privacy: Collected data stays on the operator’s machine; the security page says the app has no telemetry or cloud upload.
Credential security: OAuth tokens are stored in Windows DPAPI via the MSAL secure cache, and the product uses delegated scopes rather than application permissions.
Compliance status: SOC 2 readiness is planned, while a SOC 2 Type II audit is not on the v3.x roadmap.
Pricing model: The product is sold with an annual license and unlimited collections, without per-seat, per-custodian, or per-gigabyte pricing.
Support: The company says each pilot customer talks directly to the founder, who also reads every support email.
Company: Krellix LLC says it was founded in 2026 in Louisville, Kentucky.
